Pros: Cheaper than other film in my area. Good high quality film. Cons: None.
FujiFilm has been a favorite of our family for a long
time. The reason really goes back to the silver crisis
in the 80's but that's just history to most of you
whippersnappers. However, I'll briefly bore, err, I
mean...

Pros: Very Fine Grain, great color saturation Cons: Slow speed. Sometimes "too green." Reds can be overpowering.
Fuji's current consumer grade ISO 100 speed film, now known as Superia 100 is a wonderful daylight film. It is highly colorful and very finely grained. In short, it is a great film to use on very bright sunny days. Fuji films have come a long way ...

Pros: Excellent Film quality from an excellent company. Cons: None

Buy it, shoot it!

Pros: Rich color, excellent grain, very good latitude. Cheap, easy to process at Fujilab. Cons: Strong greens; too warm skin tones for someone's taste; demanding on metering.
That's the best cheap color print film out there. Grain is excellent, dynamics and color saturation are the best one can get from a print film. Hue might be a little too warm for rendering of the skin tones (take your UV's away), but is gorgeous for the foliage. Green is...well, Fuji green:) I scan my negs on Epson PHOTO and I'm amazed by the results. Latitude is large, but film is quite demanding on metering. While with Superia 400 I often push with +1/2 EV, on 100 I'm more conservative to keep the highlights
So buy from the "gray market" stock as I do, get all the filters off your lens, go out and have fun! And it your optics is not top notch, don't forget a tripod.
Beware, Superia is NOT Fuji 100 "Super HQ", sold by Walmart or Ritz! That Super HQ is discounted outdated formula, which is not even close to Superia.
