Pros: Works as advertised - wet or dry Cons: Handle can come apart if not properly snapped, gives a workout on the arms
I’m always so skeptical of infomercials, yet I fall for them on occasion. I wanted to try one of those One Sweep brooms, but never really got the gumption to order one. We moved into our new home several months ago, which has a lovely covered ...
Pros: Works great, easy to store Cons: none that I found
But Wait! If you order now, you get not one but TWO of these wonderful ONE SWEEP BROOMS for one low price. This is exactly what my daughter did and she did indeed get two brooms. What is she going to do with two of these brooms? Why give one to ...
Pros: Very useful for cleaning floors and pet hairs from carpets!! Cons: None to date.
WHY THE ONE SWEEP BROOM? I've seen this product advertised on TV and in infommercials for some time now. I has also been demonstrated at the annual New England Home Show in Boston for a number of years. About a week ago, I went to the Home Show, ...
Pros: Works well on wet floors, dry floors, and carpet. Inexpensive. Cons: It's made with a very cheap plastic and will break.
I bought one of these One Sweep brooms only because it was on sale at a local Bed, Bath, & Beyond, which I had a gift card for so I figured, I couldn't go wrong. The broom did pretty much all that it was advertised to do, including mopping up liquid, ...
Good for cleaning snow off of car windshields. by leskataus ,Mar 15 '07
Pros: Does do a slightly more thorough job than brooms but takes longer. Cons: Tiring to use and it can push dirt into grout lines on tiled floors.
This isn't really all that it's cracked up to be. It's tiring to use it to sweep up the floors and the sweeper can detach from the handle. The handle itself is made of a flimsy plastic and mine got bent from regular use. It finally broke off and I replaced it with a wooden handle. I have found it to be good for some activities other than sweeping floors. It's good for retrieving items from under beds and to brush snow off of car windshields. Otherwise, there's nothing about it that is really better than using a broom.
Breaks Very Easily Not Durable Tricky_Deceptive Ordering by mcalca1706 ,Feb 23 '07
Pros: Picks up hair and dust very well Cons: The handle breaks off easily, cheaply made, Tricky Ordering Process
I agree completely with joeblow. Onesweep works well for the short time that it lasts.
I first purchased two and one of them came with a broken handle. I didn't bother to go to all the trouble of sending it back. After a few months the handle on the second one broke as well! It is not durable or made to last.
Ordering from the company is also a deceptive and tricky process.
Only after you begin the order process do the real prices and shipping costs reveal themselves. Regular shipping can take about 6 weeks unless you are willing to pay more. The so called free broom is not so free because of the added shipping costs, which costs almost as much as another broom.
They will also try to get you to buy the more expensive deluxe model, which is thicker but harder to sweep with.
As I said, the ordering process is on the deceptive and tricky side.
