Pros: Looks nice with integrated cabinet fronts, runs quietly. Cons: Breaks every six months. Costs more to keep repairing than it did to buy.
We selected a Fisher & Paykel double dishdrawer DD603-I for our new home because the optional package for custom cabinet fronts provides an attractive installation, and integrated well with the rest of our kitchen. At first, we were pleased ...

Pros: This is a neat little dishwasher that always gets comments from our guests. Cons: Price, Service, Efficeincy, noise, parts, layout and construction.
We bought this two drawer unit thinking that this was an inovative idea worth exploring. Unfortunately, it has way too many drawbacks to be worth the expensive price tag. First there is the idea that two drawers will somehow be more ...

DO NOT BUY FISHER PAYKEL
by ruthcoyne ,Jul 22 '09
Pros: None Cons: Only used once per week (retired couple), lasted 5 years, rude, offensive customer support.
Bought Fisher-Paykel dish drawers because of bad back. Placed them on each side of sink. Worst Decision Ever Made--they went out after only five years of using once per week (We are a retired couple). Customer service is rude and offensive, care nothing about happy customers, and should consider going out of business. I will NEVER buy another Fisher-Paykel product--ever! I WISH I HAD READ A REVIEW SUCH AS THIS BEFORE I BOUGHT THE PRODUCT. CHECK OUT CONSUMER REPORTS--IT'S UNBIASED AND ACCURATE.

FISHER AND PAYKEL TWO DRAWER DISHWASHER
by epinionsone1 ,Dec 09 '08
Pros: LEAKS, Repairman said this brand is good for retired people that don't use it (much). Cons: Unable to repair - customer service is RUDE - Don't buy Fisher/Paykel - JUNK
LEAKS INTERMITTENTLY - TWO SERVICE CALLS IN THE PAST WEEK AND IT DOESN'T LEAK WHEN REPAIR PERSON IS THERE SO NO ONE CAN FIX IT. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE 800 NUMBER AND THEY ARE RUDE AS CAN BE.

Cost after purchase (for repairs) becoming a problem.
by shiraz05 ,Oct 17 '09
Pros: Looks very good in the kitchen with the other appliances. Cons: Breaks down often. Poor support from company. Cost prohibitive.
My wife selected the Fisher Paykel because of the design and the looks in her new kitchen. It functioned pretty well for almost a year and after that (after the warranty period of course) it was constantly breaking down. We could not find a repairman in our area who knew anything about the unit but our usual appliance repairman agreed to look at it and atempt a repair. When he called tech support they accused him of being an incompetant rookie and insulted him numerous times. He is an excellent repairman with an outstanding reputation but now refuses to work on any other Fisher Paykel appliance other than ours. We have payed out in repairs as much as the original unit cost. I would never recommend this appliance to anyone.
