I just received my Grundig Classic 960... And although it is not the 2nd edition but the 1st edition it is a very good little radio. It sounds good. The tuning takes a little getting used to. As far as the SW goes I can't answer that because it dose not interest me. The auxiliary works well. I play a CD of the Adventures of Phillip Marlow. A 96 show on a MP3 format CD. Starring Gerald Mohr. I LOVE IT! The sound through this radio brings me back to the days of real radio...
