Had to have order shipped to a friends address because for some reason my home address is blocked and they wont ship items to my address. Shipping is just absurd. I ordered 8 items in 1 order but was charged as if I had made 8 seperate orders. I paid $7 on shipping PER item and ended up with 8 boxes sitting on my friends doorstep. One item was cancelled due to my HSN card being declined yet the credit department shows it as being approved. Had to wait 4 days before the credit was applied to my card in order to reorder the item again. Had to place order 5 times before it was even registered in the system. All that aside, shipping was fast.

I am so very disappointed with this company and its policies. I recently purchased 2.6ct Moissanite and Genuine Ruby Round 3-Stone 14K Ring SIZE 5 order# 460187537. The company would not send it to me because they could not verify my address. I lease this house and have been here since December I offered to send the loss prevention rep a copy of my lease but she said "sorry that's not our policy". This was supposed to be my engagement ring. I am completely devastated. I called customer service on 2/20/2008 at 6:00pm and the rep never mentioned this. Instead of telling 10 people of this horrible experience I'll be able to tell 10,000 with the help of the internet.

I have stopped shopping at HSN. It takes WAY too long to receive the product (unlike QVC, who delivers within a couple of days). I am not happy with HSN customer service. I had a problem with a W. Puck grill/griddle which I purchased (still under warranty) and was given an 800# to call. Of course, I reached an answering machine. They have yet to return my call.
I closed my HSN account a year ago and will continue to be faithful to QVC, where I feel I get the best products, best buys and by far, the best customer service!!

Delivery speed: I received three (3) keyboards immediately and waited almost three (3) months to get authorization to return said keyboards. It also took several tries to get my computer. It was delivered one piece at a time. Also waited another 1&1/2 months to have my credit card credited for the return of the extra keyboards.
Order accuracy: Didn't exist. Made several calls to get the most simple things straight.
Customer service: SUCKS!No one seemed to care about getting my problem fixed. The support that I was supposed to get with my Gateway model 552GE has never been available. Regardless how I try, I just get the shuffle from one person to another, and never have been able to get support. I don't know any other place to try to get the service that Home Shopping Network had promised. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be glad to hear from you. I even sent a message to the head of Home Shopping Network and never got the courtesy of a reply.

I will NEVER shop at HSN again--I purchased a ProForm Treadmill in late February which was delivered to my home broken. Even though my account was charged immediately and they delivered the product within 10 days, when I tried to return the treadmill it took over a dozen phone calls and threats to get HSN to refund my money--which, seven weeks later, still hasn't occurred! Service is absolutely terrible, I have learned my lesson. NO MORE HSN! I am so disgusted I am going to write the Better Business Bureau and my State Attorney; they are holding my money far longer than should be legal.
By the way, I am a long-time QVC shopper and have always had excellent service from them; if you're looking for a shopping network, stick with QVC.
ordered Perlier Olive Oil Autoship program on Nov 15, 2004. This program guaranteed that I would be shipped the product for a guaranteed price of $29.85 at a customer selected interval as long as I was in the program. Today (2/12/05), I received an email from HSN that they had canceled my autoship without my permission. I called customer service and talked to a manager, Jennifer. I was told that they had canceled my order and could not tell me if they had canceled any one else. I was just want my product at $29.85. They said in January that the Olive Oil line was the second highest selling product line for Perlier on HSN. The product is available. I guess they just don't want to honor that good of a price. That is deceiving the customer.

Overall, I was quite unhappy with my experience using the Home Shopping Network. I ordered a garage fan for my father's birthday, and confirmed with Customer Service that the fan would be delivered in 3 days if I paid an additional $40 for shipping. The Customer Service representative indicated that shipping would not be a problem as this was a stock item and would leave the warehouse the same day as the order. On day 3 (the scheduled delivery date), I was informed via e-mail that the fan had just been drop-shipped by the manufacturer and would arrive in an additional 7 to 10 days. 7 days later the fan did finally arrive. Of course I called Customer Service, and was told that they could not give me a reason for the misrepresentation or delay, and said that all I could expect was a refund for the additional shipping amount. I will most certainly not shop with the Home Shopping Network in the future.
I have purchased many, many, many items from HSN. I have never ever had any problems with receiving or returning items(which has only been maybe once or twice out of 5 or 6 years). They deliver quickly, customer service has always been great and am very, very satisfied with HSN.
However, I recently purchased the "Today's Special", a computer by Gateway. Although it is still new and I have not had any trouble. I noticed that there was no return label in the box as with other products. Upon reading some the feedback where some people have tried to return theirs and the difficult time they seem to be having, I am getting a "little" nervous. Someone told me that Gateway was purchased by "ACER". Could this be the reason for all of the "great" buys on HSN for Gateway products and the non-caring attitude from Gateway's customer service when asked how to return items?
I had ordered $700 worth of merchandise (& $100 S&H -OUTRAGEOUS) and found out right after that there was a new HSN / AAA discount available. After several e-mails and a phone call, HSN would not honor that discount. They said they could not verify membership, when in fact they could very easily have verified it via contact with AAA or a fax of my card. Obviously dollars are worth more than customer satisfaction!

I will never shop at HSN again. They shipped me the wrong item yet I had to pay to return it; it was their mistake they should pay to return it. Also, the customer service agents were rude, non-caring and inconsiderate. My time is worth more then the $4.95 and after I was basically told to go away I gave up.
Consider yourself warned HSN has zero attention to customer service. The bottom line is their making money even on shipping.
Worse on-line store/place to shop ... horrible customer service. They do not stand behind their products and after the usual 30 days you are on your own for ANY purchase - from the least to MOST expensive one. No care at all from their side. Be aware - be very aware!

My debit account information has been stolen twice when using the online service. Not sure if I am the only one, but be sure to check your bank account for suspicious purchases when ordering through the website. I have had fraud issues only twice and it has always been after using my debit card on the HSN website. I did contact the company and let them know. Otherwise, HSN is great, but I think I will use personal checks from now on when using their system.

I started shopping with HSN many years ago and thought they were customer friendly, until I returned some shoddy merchandise and did not receive an order. HSN plays the blame game...blaming the customer and being unavailable or unreachable whenever there is a problem. My last experience with them involved a 14K jade ring which I never received, despite calls and pleas for copies of signatures for the package..nothing! They insisted I received the ring and that I had returned other items and could not order from them for a specified period of time.
HSN is not the place to shop!!! Unless of course you want to experience "Shopper's Hell"!
HSN is the worst. I placed a jewelry order in my name had it shipped to my husband at our house in WY. My credit card info is from my secondary home in Calif. Since they said they could not verify that I live in WY even though they ask you if your ship to address is diferrent then your billing address they charged my card and now they are refusing to contact my bank for a refund. Their customer service is the worst even thier supervisors are arrogant and very condesending telling me " its not thier job to contact my bank" for a refund. They kept putting me on hold and disconecting me. Oldest game in the book. They really just suck big time!!!!
All of my ordering merchandise and interactions with HSN have been positive. Only problems that I have experienced have been with UPS. Several things I have not received, and they have been delivered to wrong addresses; I also have received damaged packages-one even had a hole in the merchandise. They will not deliver to my house unless I am home in the afternoon, but I work in the afternoon. I don't like to have packages left at my neighbors. I called HSN to see if my small orders could just be sent through the mail; they said no. I usually spend about $1,000 a month. However, due to my experience with UPS, I will not be ordering as much. Most items were of ok quality, what I expected for the price. But one item was totally damaged and it was obvious that it had been shipped damaged. The piece was broken where it connected and the broken piece was not in the box. HSN's quality was always about average, but recently there quality control seems to be non-existent. I will still shop with them on certain items, but I have lost faith on clothes and most jewelry --shoes are iffy but usually ok. Read more
