Pros: Solid feel; great style; large display; quality mic and speakers; the perfect phone with bling Cons: Poorly designed mini-USB port access
I admit, I am attracted to shiny objects and you cannot get much shinier than the Motorola KRZR K1 Limited Edition Champagne Gold cell phone. Too many years to mention of mobile phone use left me with a laundry list of desired features; living in the ...

Pros: Beautiful, sleek, elegant shape. Stays new looking a long time. Cons: So many features I haven't had time yet to figure them all out!
I don't get new phones very often because most of them are either bulky or ugly. This one is beautiful and sleek with a stunning polished surface and a much more elegant shape than the RZR. The sound quality is really good and the fact that is has tons ...

Good....BUT
by phatmouty ,Oct 01 '07
Pros: Light weight, VERY LOUD RINGER/SPEAKER, Small in size (good for pockets), plenty of storage space. Cons: Known issue with the "Flex Cable" (read review)
Granted, this is not for the champagne gold, limited edition KRZR K1, but it is the Blue model that Cingular puts out. It is a very slick phone and has a LOT o features that are great. The weight of the phone is very nice and light compared to other phones. the 2MP digital camera is awesome.
Now the problem I ran into was pretty substantial. I had this phone for not even a month and the main LCD screen on the inside of the phone turned white with a thin red line down the middle. After playing around and doing some troubleshooting, I went to the web to do some research. Found that there is a commonly-known problem with the KRZR K1's for having bad "Flex Cables".. Basically a flex cable is the tiny little ribbon cable that connects the main LCD to the mainboard of the cell phone. I was very fortunate to still be within the 30-day satistaction gaurentee period so I simply went and had it replaced. Hopefully I have better luck with this one.
Remember, it's the BLUE MOTO KRZR K1 that Cingular puts out.
