i LOVE the magic eraser.i have ceramic stove top and it needs cleaning after every use..i have used the so called ceramic cleaner and used elbow grease, but with the magic eraser,no exertion,have a supply upstairs also for the bathrooms..will never use all those chemical sprays again all you need is magic eraser...also works wonders windows. just a little vinegar and water and sparkling windows.also great for fan hoods, oven doors, knobs and the fridge..i CANNOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH AND no I DO NOT WORK FOR THE COMPANY

I have off white counter tops that are stained with tea and coffee, in the past it was a 4 hour job to clean them with soft scrub with bleach to get them clean. It was a messy job with bleach fumes, grit to rinse off and my skin feeling like it was made of leather. Today I bought Mr. Clean magic eraser and in 40 minutes my counters were spotlessly clean with no fumes, no grit, and no dry hands! I am in heaven! I also did the sink ( bright and shiny) the stainless steel coffee pot ( beautiful) the stove top and front , the fridge front, dishwasher front, and toaster oven, I also took a swipe at the toaster ... all came out great. I also used it in a few spots on the walls nothing else had touched and it cleaned those too. I am totally sold on this product, If they put it on a mop I would be in heaven!

Cons: Expensive, short lived.

I tried these when they first came out and didn't like them because they left a gritty residue. When the new improved version came out I tried them again. They work very well on all surfaces, even very dirty or greasy ones, and leave no residue on the areas being cleaned. My husband has COPD and reacts strongly to the odors of many cleaning products. These Erasers have no odor that I could detect, so they are excellent in that respect. I won't be buying them again, however, as they begin to fall apart very quickly and begin to shed little crumbs of sponge, thereby making another mess to be cleaned up on the floor or counter tops. They are way too expensive for what little use one gets out of them.

Cons: to small and does not last long enough for the price

after reading all posting i have to mention how it works on tubs toilets with high mineral content have tried c l r lime away and all no work also takes water stains of siding

I LOVE this product! I'm definitely not one to buy into fad-cleaning products, especially because I have such a limited amount of space to store them. I tried the Magic Eraser because I had a coupon, and I was THRILLED. It took scuff marks off of very old painted wooden white bookcases I'd had for years -- NOTHING else I've tried short of re-painting them was able to do that. The only comment I have, like others on this site, is that it doesn't hold up as long as I'd like, but that's a small price to pay for the remarkable job it does. One more thing that's amazing about it -- I use it to clean my washing machine's agitator -- it gets all of the discoloration and grime off without scuffing!

i keep magic erasers all over my home. One day i walked down to check my mail(we have community mail boxes) to find out some one had marked grafity all over the mail boxes. I thought that just maybe my magic eraser might do the trick. I went back to the house grabbed the magic eraser, and with a little water the grafity was removed.

Pros: Cleans everything! Koolaid stains on countertops, leather, dirt around doorknobs and light switches.
Cons: When they are towards the end they get a little crumbly.

I would often get stains on my stainless steel sink...yes, stains! And I would spray it down with cleaner, let it soak for a little while and then use a standard scrubber on it. Did it work, no! It still had stains and rust marks that would remain. I purchased a magic eraser and with one swipe, it came right off...how could it be so simple? I don't know why, but I found it cleaned the leather seats, door panels, and steering wheel in my car. I have light cream leather which shows all sorts of dirt and with the magic eraser and a bucket of water, I was able to make my car look great again. I did seal my leather seats as a back up to avoid drying out or cracking of the leather, but found the magic eraser to help clean up those everyday dirt and smudges.

Pros: Make everything look new again!
Cons: No cons, in my opinion everyone should have one!

I simply want to say Thank You. I have yet to find another cleaner that will take away the grime my children leave on my cabinets, appliances, trash can, floors and walls. My house looks brand new. Please consider making the Magic Eraser in the shape of a mop so that I can reach the top of my walls and ceiling. Thanks again!

Pros: Works on almost anything effortlessly.
Cons: Would like to see an eraser with a handle to use in bathtubs.

The magic eraser saves me from touch up painting. It works with very little effort. It's great on soap scum!!! I operate a janitorial service and the offices we clean think we do top to bottom cleaning...it's just the Magic Eraser at work!!!

DON'T TRY THE ERASER ON YOUR WHITE WALLS .LIKE THEY CLAIM TO WORK .THE ERASER QUALITY IS NOT TOUGH ENOUGH FOR THAT JOB. THEY CRUMBLE TO PIECES.

Pros: The best cleaning product ever invented.
Cons: They disintegrate as you clean.

Magic Eraser is the best cleaning product ever invented. I can't believe one sponge can clean marks off walls, shine your stainless steel sink, and easily scrub soap scum off your tub or shower. It is absolutely amazing.

I tell everyone about this product - I could be Mr. Clean's spokesperson!

Pros: Phenomenal on Soap Scum and Fantastic on range top BURNT on stains.
Cons: Hard to find a con.

I used my Magic Eraser on our soap scum. WONDERFUL! I was amazed how easy the scum wiped off. My daughters had a Halloween party with a sleepover. Three of the girls had gotten into the spray on hair color, only they used it on their arms and legs...teenagers. Anyway, after each had showered the scum on our fiberglass enclosure was grey and disgusting...it was before but you couldn't see it. I put off cleaning it for a couple of days since I figured it would take me a whole day to do it...when I used Easy Off Bam on our other bathroom...it took all day. I decided to try the Magic eraser after seeing a commercial for it. In less than a half hour....my fiberglass enclosure was sparkling like brand new!
I was amazed! If I was ever to have an affair it would be with Mr. Clean! Thanks for a GREAT product!

Cons: durability, seemed to take protective coating off appliances in my kitchen

I would swear that it took the most protective coatings off of everything I have, mostly in the kitchen and basesboards.  I was amazed (by how well it worked), until I noticed how quickly the items becames dirty again in addition to being harder to clean, unless you use the magic eraser.  Seriously, am I the only one that noticed a problem??? Namely, my refrigerator, door, and handle.  My Oven handle, my baseboards.  They also fall apart so quickly that for a person with weak, and sensitve hands, its tough to continue to use.  I seriously am upset over my appliances, and baseboards that used to be easier to clean, even with hot water, now????  Not a chance. 

Pros: Works well, not messy,really does work on crayon.
Cons: Gets used fairly quickly on textured walls.

I'm going to the store to buy more now. I totally didn't expect this to work but tried it. I have textured walls and four small kids who have anialated the lower three feet of walls throughout my home with greasy fingers and one budding artist has crayoned large sections of wall space. Though the soiling is not entirely erased, I can walk around my home not feeling an urgent need to paint the lower three feet. I hope they drop the cost a bit as I can see myself stocking up and keeping them handy for all sorts of jobs. I wonder if I had attacked the soiling with these right away if it would have worked even better. I know that the texturing on my walls chews them up faster, so if you don't have texturing, I'm sure you'll be really happy. But considering I'd found no alternative method of cleaning textured walls save new paint, I'm pretty happy too. Can you tell?

Cons: Gets used up too fast. But still worth it!

Wow, this little sponge delivers as promised... I was truly amazed at the little effort it took. You know that area on the countertop around the coffee maker that gets stained and NOTHING will clean it up? I tried bleach, I tried scrubbing, I tried everything and it was still there. One swipe with the Magic Eraser and the countertop was like new!!

It's also wonderful on those greasy spots around the doorknobs and the light switches. I went around wiping things just to see it work!!

Unfortunately it's not as effective on the crayon as the package would like you to believe, it does work but just takes a lot more effort.

My only complaint was that it does get "used up" pretty fast but it's quite inexpensive so well worth it for what I save in time an effort. Also, you do need to try it on a test area first because on some surfaces it can scratch easily. You wouldn't think so because it's quite soft.
