Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

Pros: It gets the job done without the harsh chemicals and the fumes from these chemicals.
Cons: It doesn't last quite long enough.

The Magic Eraser is great...My sister has just moved into a new home. The people that lived there prior obviously never cleaned anything. I volunteered to clean the kitchen for her. The floors were covered in scuff marks and grease, and the stove and oven were a nightmare. I tried several liquid cleaners with not much luck. I then used the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser and it was the thing I needed. I cleaned the baked on grease spots and removed all of the scuff marks.Not only did it do a better job, but I didn't have the harsh chemicals to use and the fumes. I recommend this product to everyone......

I love these things. Scrubbing the soap scum out of our tub was a job that nobody wanted. The magic eraser makes it possible to do in only a few moments.

With just a bit of water, the magic eraser "rips" soap scum from the tub. No extra cleaners needed. It is then just a matter of rinsing the dirty residue down the drain.

Pros: THE PRODUCT DOES WORK.
Cons: THE REASON IT WORKS ARE THE CHEMICALS IN THE PRODUCT.

THERE HAVE BEEN SOME INSTANCES OF CHEMICAL BURNS FROM THE MAGIC ERASER. THE CHEMICALS IN THIS PRODUCT CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS ON SENSITIVE SKIN. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO SOMEONE I KNOW. POISON CONTROL WAS CALLED AND THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT.

Pros: Cleans better than any other product out there!
Cons: The only con that I see is that it does not last long

OK, this is my first review of a product, but what a great product to start with!! I am absolutely amazed by this! Three quarters of my house is done in ceramic tile and the grout is horrible. I have tried numerous cleaning products, steam cleaners, etc. and nothing has come close to what this little magic sponge has! I have not seen my grout this clean since the tile was laid down! Do yourself a favor and try this product, you will not be disappointed!

Pros: Makes quick work of crayon, permanent marker, pencil, and pen mistakes.

My wife went out and left me to take care of our 2 year old. While I was getting some work done on the computer, I recognized a familiar sound. Unfortunately, it took about a minute for it to register in my brain that it was a bad noise. It was the sound of a magic marker; a permanent magic marker. I looked up to see Kyle busy scribbling on our brand new, less than a week old, not paid for, kitchen cabinets. He had written on a total of 8 drawer/door fronts.

Well, I certainly didn't want to hear, "How could this happen? Weren't you watching him?" I quickly grabbed the Magic Eraser and had the cabinets looking like new in about 5 minutes. Oh, and in case you were wondering, my wife came home in 4 minutes. Caught! Magic Eraser did, however, remove 100% of the scribbles.

Pros: I can clean my whole house with it from my bathroom to my kitchen!
Cons: I wish it was a little stronger to clean soap scum.

I have wanted to rave about the Magic Eraser for a long time. It is the greatest invention! I usually try things when they come out new but I have to admit I wasn't sure that this product would work. I have used the Magic Eraser ALL over my home. I used it to clean the inside of my refrigerator when our gas heat turned it black. I didn't want to use chemicals. It was snow white when I finished. I used it to clean the outside too. I have white counter tops in my kitchen and a white floor. Guess what.. they are sparkling now! It gets into little pores that no chemical can do. I have recommended this to everyone I know. It truly is Magic!

I am a kindergarten teacher who spends a lot of time with grubby little hands! Two years ago, some of my darlings decided to "color" the classrooms only chalkboard, making it unusable. The teacher next door, who has been teaching for 29 years, gave me endless ideas and spent a lot of hours trying to help me clean that board with every product known to man. It wasn't until she received a Mr. Clean Sponge free in the mail that salvation arrived! When she walked in that morning, I actually laughed at her, but I was soon proven wrong! That sponge worked effortlessly to clean off that two year old crayon! The board looks and works beautifully now, and those sponges are a staple in my classroom AND my home! Way to go, Mr. Clean!

Pros: Worked on my tiled countertops wonderfully.
Cons: Don't work on my countertops any longer.

I used the Mr Clean Magic Erasers ever since they came out. The last few boxes, however, have not worked as great as earlier. What happened? I thought I had found the wonder cleaner of all times. Bring back the original if you changed them.

Pros: EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL.
Cons: HONESTLY, I FIND NO FAULTS WITH THIS PRODUCT.

I AM TOTALLY AMAZED BY THIS PRODUCT! IT WORKS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE ON THE MARKET TODAY. YOU KNOW THAT YUCKY GREASE ON THE STOVE? GONE! DIRTY HAND PRINTS ON THE KITCHEN CABINETS? GONE! SOAP SCUM FROM THAT BAR OF SOAP THAT SITS ON THE BATHROOM COUNTER?(CAUSE THE KIDS DON'T WANT TO PUT IT IN THE TRAY) GONE! THE GRASS STAINS ON WHITE SHOES FROM MOWING GRASS? GONE! EVEN BUGS OFF THE CAR WINDSHIELD! GONE! EVERYTHING- GONE! AND THE BEST PART ABOUT USING THE ERASER, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCRUB REAL HARD. I JUST HAD BACK SURGERY, AND I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO STRAIN MYSELF DOING TASKS AROUND THE HOUSE. I DON'T HAVE TOO NOW! THANKS SO MUCH FOR INVENTING THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT. I THOUGHT OVERALL THIS PRODUCT DID A MARVILOUS JOB AND EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE PRODUCT FOR THE COST, I WOULD BILL IT AGAIN.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Magic Eraser. I use it on my tiles in my shower to remove all the gross mildewy stuff that builds up, soap scum, any scum. I crawl around my kitchen linoleum floor and use it to get the ground in dirt. As I was crawling around the floor on Saturday with a magic eraser, I said to my husband "I wish they made a Magic Eraser mop so I could use it instead of crawling around on the floor. I am going to write the company and suggest it". On Sunday, I was at the grocery store, and there in the middle of the aisle was a display of MAGIC ERASER MOPS!!!!! My wish came true. I was speechless. I wanted to take Magic Eraser mop and dance around the store with it!! I literally stopped in my tracks, my jaw dropped, and my son was saying "Mom! Mom!" to snap me out of it when I saw the mops. Can you see how much I LOVE MAGIC ERASER?????!!!!!

Pros: Saves you Hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars in carpet replacement!
Cons: Is very tedious work to strip each row of fibers.

My two-year old spilled Carmel-colored fingernail polish on my cream-colored shag carpet. After it dried, I used the magic eraser (kind with the blue backing) to strip the polish out of the carpet. I couldn't believe it! It did take about an hour to do a 2"x2" spot, but the polish is almost unnoticeable and the carpet looks great! Sure beats the price of replacement. The magic eraser breaks apart completely during this process, so I used two. This is why it must be the kind that has the blue backing on it.

Pros: Cleans well.
Cons: Dangerous to fingers.

While using the sponge, which has a very sticky surface, the sponge stuck on the wall of the tub, then my finger stuck on the upper surface of the sponge and the stickiness pulled the tip of my middle finger all the way back and under, pulling the tendon out of the bone. I did like the way the sponge cleaned the tub, but I've been in a splint for over 2 months now without a good result. I would advise great caution when using this product.
