Pros: Cleans marks that you wouldn't be able to remove otherwise. Easy to use. Cons: Seems to fall apart quickly & definitely not for removing oil paint from your wall!!!!!!
I bought the Mr Clean Magic Eraser after hearing good and bad reviews but finally caved when a new friend told me she couldn't live without it and showed me how well it took the dirt off of her floor after her house guests came tracking through for a ...

Pros: Gently removes every mark & scuff from any surface in seconds! Cons: Absolutely none.
I'm a cleaning fanatic and so are my sisters. So when my sister recommended I try the "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser", I did. Now I keep about 6 on hand at all times. These pure white "erasers" are a godsend when it comes to removing stubborn scuffs and marks ...

Pros: The best thing is no fumes or chemical smell to worry about. Cons: They don't last long enough!
I have been using Magic Erasers for over a year now. I absolutely love them and have told everyone I know to try them. They all rave about them as well. I have a ceramic cook top stove and these get any cooked on food residue off with ease, better than ...

Pros: Works wonders! Great value! Best product I've ever used! Cons: None!
I'm always one to try every new thing that comes out...and I'm usually disappointed. Not this time! The first thing I tried it on was my refrigerator handle...very pourous..and very dirty! It was instantly clean! I freaked out and started trying ...

Pros: Amazing cleaning power. Gets off marks that we thought were permanent. Cons: We went through them quickly, but we were cleaning the house up to move.
We are getting ready to sell our house. After 11 years here, 6 of them with children, we had our share of marks, dirty walls, stray crayon marks, etc. We assumed that most of these places would have to be repainted. I had heard of this product, but I ...

Pros: NO Buckets needed, works great on everything I tried it on. Cons: I used the whole sponge in one day, but the house sparkles!
I received a sample for Mr. Clean Eraser and I've got to tell you...This is GREAT! The commercials do not give the whole story. This cleans as well or better than my normal cleaner, 409. And..no buckets! I received this yesterday and started using ...

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to use, one of a kind innovention! Cons: The sponge with sort of collapse and dissolve if you use too much elbow grease.
For the past year, my toddler has been going through an "artistic phase". She "decorates" her surroundings whenever the possibility occurs to her. Her room and some of the hallways were a disaster. "There goes the security deposit,' said my husband. ...

Bathtub
by phylissanders ,Dec 20 '03
Pros: Did wonders on my bathtub and grout. Cons: None
I recently bought a home and the bathtub had these horrible black/gray abrasive mold circles on the bottom. I have tried bleach, vinegar and tarter mixture, and every other conceivable concoction found on the Internet (this tub has been scrubbed for hours). Nothing worked, and I had resigned myself to resurfacing the entire bath tub which was costly, toxic, and most likely going to cause bickering with the hubby.
Then I found the miracle eraser! The tub looked brand new after ten minutes with the wonder sponge... It is really amazing.
Other reviews I read mentioned the cost of this disappearing product. BUT, I will save a lot of money by not having to purchase five different cleaning products for the bathroom and kitchen. Plus, my time is worth the extra couple bucks.
I am sold on this product and am seriously considering purchasing stock in Proctor & Gamble because I believe this sponge will become a household cleaning staple across America.

Incredible!
by zabbadabbadoo ,Mar 05 '04
Pros: Inexpensive, extremely effective. Cons: None.
I am sold on this product! I saw the commercial, and thought "Oh come on, that can't be *that* good!".
It is.
It 'erased' red hair dye that I had dripped onto white grout months ago, same for black scratch like marks on walls, stains in the bottom of the bathtub (that I thought would never come out), and more.
It is so easy to use, very economical, and the size is perfect.

It Really Works! No more repainting for me!
by cseyer ,Oct 27 '03
Pros: Works as advertised with minimal effort. Remove marks, crayon, dirt, etc. from walls. Cons: The kids like having a fresh canvas to color on? Seriously NONE!
Bought the Mr. Clean Eraser after seeing the ad on TV. Hey for less than $2 bucks for two erasers at the local Wal-Mart it was worth a shot!
Small white rectangle sponges that you dampen before use. Using a light sanding motion on the walls this thing remove everything I could throw at it! Black marks on paint and trim gone! A small piece of crayon artwork on the wall from our toddler GONE! Dirty finger prints on the doors, GONE! Scuff mark on a cabinet door GONE! So in approximately 30 minutes the whole house looks like its been freshly painted. This is the product of the year in my book.
The sponge is a very soft material and as the directions indicate will wear out after a few uses. But hey at less than a dollar a sponge it sounds like a bargain to me!

WOW!! The commercial was right for once!!
by fudge_x ,Oct 26 '03
Pros: Worked JUST like they said in the commercial! Even porous white handles that are yellowing! Cons: Does wear a little fast, but if it works...
After using steel wool pads, bleach, vinegar...you name it, to get the grime off of my fridge door handle, stove door handle, and dishwasher handle (all of which are porous, of course!) I FINALLY found the solution in the form of a little white sponge. I was amazed at how quickly this product worked! Then I proceeded to get age old marks off my walls, baseboards, and window sills. I realize, to some, I may sound like a bit of an unkempt individual, but the grime I refer to is yellowing, and deep into the pores of the material that even the popular "steel wool" soap pads couldn't reach.
I do, however, agree with some, that the pad wears rather fast. However, I would gladly by more, when needed. I see this as an occasional need, not so much an everyday need. Contrary to what you may have surmised from this write up, I DO keep a clean house!! haha!

Fantastic for glass shower doors
by briansyyz ,Feb 09 '04
Pros: Very easy to use and no soap scum or other residue to clean up. Cons: They break down a bit faster than you'd expect.
I used the Magic Eraser on my glass shower doors and was amazed. Before Magic Eraser came along, I was using highly toxic stuff like CLR to remove the soap scum and lime deposits and inhaling nasty fumes. Now with the Magic Eraser, the job is done in seconds with no mess and no nasty fumes. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! How the heck do these things work???

Mr Clean worked great to remove hockey bag marks
by drlawrie ,Nov 15 '03
Pros: Great cleaning power. Very versatile-works on metal, wood, drywall, and plastic. Cons: Only come 2 per box.
I was interested in the erasers when I saw the commercials for them and bought some to give them a try. They are very affordable! I first tried them in the kitchen on the handles of the microwave, stove and refrig. With a 15 year old in the house, it is amazing how dirty these areas get. The eraser took off the dirty with one wipe. We have tried a number of other products like Fantastic but none worked like this. Then I tried it on some marks on the wall from where my son had dragged his hockey bag. We haven't been able to get these off before and were just waiting for him to finish playing to prime and paint the walls. With the eraser, the marks came right off. I also used it on our staircase railing and the front door and garage door. We haven't found anywhere that it does not work wonderfully.

Works great on crayon, scuff marks
by jharris2003 ,Dec 19 '03
Pros: Quick, easy, effective, economical Cons: Gets used up rather quickly
This product is great for cleaning off crayon and scuff marks. I also tried it this morning on a faux-finished wall that my son colored on with a bright green highlighter. I've been putting off trying to clean the green highlighter for months, but the Magic Eraser did a decent job of cleaning most of it off. I didn't scrub too much because I didn't use high quality paint on the walls, and thus some of the paint was coming off as well. However, it makes cleaning some things a cinch well beyond any other products I have used. It was also very economical- 75 cents after the dollar coupon.

very pleased
by kpooh ,Nov 04 '03
Pros: easy instructions, easy to use, and works great Cons: I don't know where to store it. It needs a container.
I decided to purchase the magic eraser to remove my 2 year old daughters art work from her closet doors. I was extremely surprised at how well this worked. It removed the crayon without much work on my part and I am very pleased. I will be telling all of my friends and family about the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
