While I am not a "wood worker," I do like to have a little fun here at home with unfinished furniture and similar things. Currently, I have two pieces that I have finished with the Watco Danish Oil Golden Oak color. I cannot believe how easy this finish is! You can't screw it up! It goes on like water! The wood is still smooth and the grain is not raised. I used it on a 3 year old Oak swing that had weathered gray. I sanded it down to get most of the gray off. Then I applied the finish over it. All I can say is wow! It looks fantastic! I am about to refinish my kitchen table with it. I am sure it will come out beautiful too!
