Pros: Very portable and has many different uses. Cons: I'm sometimes worried about scratching the screen or dropping it.
I love my m130. Originally, it was a Christmas gift from my mother because as a music teacher, I have lots of re-occuring appointments. I have 7 different faceplates that I can change whenever I want, including red, blue, snakeskin, and leopard print. ...

Pros: New user, thought a real palm would be a good idea. Like the color screen. Cons: Missing the First Step.
Hey, I'm new to this, so don't hold it against me. But, in Reliability Engineering, I have found that many times the system doesn't tell you the first step. I got a M130 yesterday at FRYs in Anaheim. Its a refurbished one, so that may have something to ...

Pros: color screen, 8 mb memory, expansion, usb, smaller model Cons: small screen
This is a great Palm Handheld to look into. Offering a more personal look on the outside. The m130 offers 8mb of memory, a backlit color screen with a great resolution, a smaller body style, expansion slots, and much more. One con of the m130 might be...

Pros: Color screen, easy use, design, faceplates, applications Cons: Battery life, lack of sound, hot sync
For the price this PDA is a good choice. The color capability is decent and the battery life is okay. One good thing is that you don't lose your information when your battery goes down you have a week to recharge it. Also you aren't replacing...

After lugging my leather bound daytimer around the last 4 years I decided I wanted a PDA to lighten my load. I decided the Palm M130 was a good beginning and asked Santa for one for Christmas. Luckily Santa was in cahoots with my wife and she got it...

Pros: Hello it's a palm! Color screen! Still cool looking design! Battery Life. Cons: Picture quality. No sound, who cares!
I got this for christmas! I wanted it for a long time. The main reason i wanted a palm was that i was tired of people saying when i had a pda that they mistakened it for a REAL palm. The build quality is good. That was the main reason i picked a palm...

This is the third Palm that I have purchased. My first Palm was the Palm III and I was impressed with that unfortunately it was stolen. My second Palm was the M105. I liked it and was really getting used to the Graffity stuff but I wanted more, no I...

My first PDA...
by kiowaskank ,Oct 20 '03
Pros: Color screen, easy to use, many downloadable apps, memory expansion, nice processing speed Cons: Low screen resolution, covers expensive/hard to find, can take FOREVER to access memory card
I have wanted one since the first PDA came out way back when, but could never afford one. Back in early May, I finally bought a Palm M130 from a friend who never used it for $100, and have loved it ever since. I still use it every day & the novelty hasn't worn off yet. The screen is pretty scratchable, but that's easily remedied with screen protectors. There's So many little programs & stuff for it! I was amazed at how many I could download for free. Silly stuff, like virtual fortune cookies, Homer Simpson quotes, & Tetris, and also very useful stuff like an 'feminine monitoring' program that I've used throughout my pregnancy. I love this thing. I can keep track of my entire life with it, I'll never forget a prenatal checkup again. Plus I can keep information on people for stalking purposes! Heh heh, seriously though, for a lower-end PDA, this baby kicks butt.

Nothing but trouble
by ninakb ,Jan 26 '04
Pros: All the features I wanted with a color screen Cons: Recharging problems, losing data problems, stylus problems. DO NOT BUY
After the first month of owning my first Palm, the 130, I had problems. From the start I had to call the company on 3 separate occasions with recharging difficulties. On the third time I asked for a replacement which they refused to do. Instead, I had to somehow push the reset button while the palm was in the recharger, no mean feat. Since then, the palm needs more and more resetting and loses power quickly. This is extremely frustrating in that I keep losing all my information that I've not transferred to my computer. Now I need to somehow get a new PDA that will take all the Palm information without having to physically type all the data in.
Also, I've recently noticed the stylus is missing the icons on the pad so I have to keep trying different positions.
My final review-RUN to another manufacturer.
