Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner

Pros: Came with batteries. Smells okay.
Cons: Doesn't work. Waste of money.

Hmmm. I thought that this product might work because it's from a reputable company. Our water is fairly soft, so there is a great deal of deposit created by the water.

I bought the version that came with two bottles and after the second one was empty, it still hadn't done much of anything. I am still hand scrubbing the tub portion on my knees and the walls with a Mr. Clean scrubbing pad on a handle. I spent nearly $20 for the initial kit.

I will not be buying any refills. I will use the batteries for some other gadget and toss the sprayer.

Pros: Keeps a clean tub clean, makes fixtures shine, smells good
Cons: Expensive

I have lived in my apartment for over a year now and because of Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, I have only had to clean my bath tub once.

I noticed that the shower floor was a bit slippery, so I got a rubber no-slip mat.

Yes, it's expensive.  But it works, so I am willing to pay for it.

(I started with a clean tub, so I can't speak as to how well it cleans a dirty tub.)

Pros: Does reduce soap scum and leaves shower smelling clean
Cons: It needs batteries replaced too often and the life span of the unit is disappointing.

I have my shower maid about 11 months and when it works its great but It goes through the alkaline batteries, I think rather quickly. I have tried different brand batteries and with same results Also there is only 2 people in my home so it isn't like its being used 5 times a day. And now after 11 months it has just stopped working. And I have the battery compartment on the bottom. I love the results but I am disappointed in the life span of it.

Cons: Way too many to mention. Suffice it to say that it DOES NOT WORK!

My clean shower gets more and more dirty with every daily use. Don't waste your money like I did. I foresee yet another class action law suit in future. This was the WORST move DOW could have ever made.

Cons: I replaced the cleaner in the bottle with my favorite cleaner and found better results.

I was unhappy with the results also so I replaced the cleaner in the bottle with my favorite cleaner that I had used for years. Problem solved. I usually hit the button again to get a double cleaning.

Pros: IDEA/PREMISE/CONCEPT IS AWESOME
Cons: DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED - IF STREAKS ARE PRESENT, IT IS NOT CLEAN!

SCRUBBING BUBBLES AUTOMATIC BATHROOM CLEANER SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. LEAVES STREAKS - THAT'S NOT CLEAN TO ME. NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AT ALL! WORST PRODUCT I HAVE PURCHASED IN MANY YEARS! PRIOR TO INSTALLING THIS ITEM I KEPT A CLEAN & STREAK FREE SHOWER/TUB AREA! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOTTLE TO RUN OUT SO I CAN REINSTALL THE SHOWER CADDY THAT HUNG THERE BEFORE!
*Positive Note: At the same time I posted this review I contacted SC Johnson and was pleasantly surprised at their response! They do listen to customers for product improvement. And they are sending me a refund!
