I paid approximately $80 for three months of service at TheLadders.com during a recent job search. The service included access to a free resume critique, thousands of online job postings, career advice and access to ...

"Hey, what if we build a walled garden where job candidates and recruiters can contact each other without the noise of get rich schemes and multi-level marketing offers?" "That sounds pretty good. But how are you going to keep the riff-raff out?" ...
I have been a member of the Ladders now for 3 months. I paid for a 1 year subscription because given the economy I was not sure how long I might be searching. Here is what I have found: The first thing I did was post my resume. I had the resume ...
I have mixed feelings about Ladders. My husband was the job seeker, so I am paraphrasing him. From a job listing perspective, they were all recruiters. There were no direct company jobs, but with a $4500 year fee for job posters, that would explain ...
The Ladders doesn't deliver much more than the free listings on Monster, CareerBuilders, Hotjobs, CyberCoders, Dice,....I was disappointed in the results, having to wait over a month before getting an eMail with a list of jobs, even then it was ...
Too expensive and full of blatant hooks to get you to pay more. You can "join" for free (and they then have your resume) but you can't make your resume visible or look at more than a few sentences of any job openings until you sign up for a paid ...
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! This is only a ploy to other schemes. You will be bombarded with offers to buy a new resume ( which is four times more than a professional resume service) they also try to get you to buy tips on how to interview... which ...
Don't Pay - There Is No Value Add by acustomer99 ,Sep 28 '09
What a bad, bad service and website. Not only do you have to pay for what is largely free across the web, but they don't even integrate into the free job sites and employer sites they aggregate. What I expected was that they aggregated the free job and then offer you a seamless way to apply for them through you single TheLadders login. The reality is you still have to create logins on all these separate sites and employer sites, which amounts to the service providing you nothing useful at all for the $30 per month. I could not stress enough to anyone to not use this service.
Dissapointed in my Ladders subscription by focussed09 ,Jul 30 '09
I have been using this service for several months. I understand that there is alot of competition on the landscape for high paying jobs but, I can honestly say that I would not subscribe to this service in the future. I have had only two recruiters view my resume and have been both a top sales producer and a successful entrepreneur in the past. Very dissapointing.
Not recommended.. not worth the money by nipi1979 ,Oct 30 '09
The ladders is not worth the money... no response in the last 3 years I have used their service..... they have testimonials from some people who mayhave got jobs.....but I would like to know out of the total subscribed base what % get a job from the ladders.....if it is 5% or 10% then they should mention that up front to people who they are soliciting that.........the resume improvement service which I got was even worse, paid more than $700 to build resume on my own after I got frustated with the resume builders... they asked me a numebr of questions....I responded to the questions and they stuck all that content word for word into a new template of resume....so I got a new template for my resume for $700.....wish any one can search for resume templates on the web and get them for free.....
