Cons: caught  bugs under the front lip so the things in front  need bagging

i used it to move across the country with my subaru wagon. it worked well in my situaution and car since i already had the towers and only needed the cross bars to mount it. it mounted easily enough and after centering it on the car and checking the clearances on the back door of thr wagon i threw duffle bags and a memory foam mattress up there. and a 35" lcd t.v. which was wrapped in that mattress and rode in style.i thought that with the case being black there would be heat issues but the foam was a great insulator against it.
