Pros: size, power, comfort, and reliability Cons: nothing we can think of
I am new to reviewing so please bear with me. So heres a little background: I am 5'2", small frame. My husband is 6'3" X-LG frame. We both feel very comfortable driving it, no problem getting in and out, or seeing. We bought our '02 Chevy truck ...
Pros: Optimum performance, Durability, Hauling power, Sturdiness and Convenience and Muscularity Cons: Nothing
Call it whatever you want. Once you see a Chevy Siverado half ton crew cab, you will stop to to take a look at the pure brute power of this truck. No wonder that most young guys and gals are attracted to it. It's a truck with a tough presence on the...
In my recent search for a new pickup truck I couldn't resist the chance afforded me to borrow my Father in laws new Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab 2 wheel drive for a week.
The truck was a beautiful charcoal gray with dark gray interior, all the...
Pros: handling, tough, good looking Cons: automatic transmission wears out too fast and costs too much
I fell in love with my 1998 Silverado when I got it, but then the automatic transmission gave out at about 80,000 miles. Now I have a Toyota Tacoma, with a standard 5-speed transmission that will last a lot longer. I just didn't have $5,000 to get it ...
. . .as all the manufacturers have pretty good trucks and I like some things in all of them. In the end, the Silverado won and I ponied up the money for it.
I have mine (an LS) optioned out almost like an LT, but I didn't want leather. It...
Pros: Power, smooth acceleration, stereo Cons: I Can't think of any
Oh, shucks...the pronounced hood and grill fooled me!!!! I wondered why the interior seats were flatter, the dash farther away, and I never saw that much room in the back seat...oh, the seat is smaller. But the stereo sure sounded better than my faithful...
I have owned a Toyota PU, a Ford PU, and now my second Chevy.
The first was a 1999 Silverado 1500LS SB w/5300 Vortec. I liked this truck but wished it had 4 doors and wasnt crazy about the transmission. Ride was good but could be improved...
Pros: Sleekest looking truck on the road. Cons: Pull out front ash tray sticks, grabs the dash panel.
My wife and I have owned our new truck for one week so far and love it to death. It is a 1500 LT, Ext. cab, 4x4 with the 5.3L engine. The truck is totally loaded with every available option including Onstar. The sticker price was 34,500. We have 2 kids...
Pros: Good ride, comfortable seats, strong engine Cons: Transmission clunks badly going into 3rd gear. Known problem.
A good truck except for the transmission and some minor fit and finish problems. The Chevy LS comes standard with some very nice features. The ride is relatively quiet for a truck, and the 4.8l V8 engine is strong and can tow small trailers with ease. ...
Pros: Power, handling, quality Cons: Factory mud flaps would be nice
I love this truck. The engine is smooth and delivers lots of power, gets good gas mileage for the power, and has an unbeatable 4 wheel drive system! Highly Recommended
Great power, but very uncomfortable seating by staudtjim ,Dec 14 '03
Pros: Engine and solid feel. Cons: Horribly designed power seat.
I bought the truck mostly for safety, since all the cars being made these days are so small and unsafe. Plus I had a 1990 Chevy pickup and had sold it about a year before, and I missed not having a truck. The thing I like best about my 2002 extended cab is the power -- I have the 5.3 liter Vortec V8, and it has great power and torque. Unfortunately, the bucket seat is the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced, in a car or a truck. In addition, the very expensive power seat option is very unwieldy -- The power is in the seat portion only, while the seat back is fixed except for a manual rake adjustment.
