Pros: Great engine, handling, ride, materials Cons: Marginal cargo room, driving position, lacks thrills in normal driving, PRICE
Since the current-generation 3-Series appeared in 1999 Ive had trouble getting excited about it despite many opportunities to drive the car. Even after the driver-oriented engine and suspension tweaks a couple years ago, it always seemed smoother ...
Pros: Creamy inline six, magic chassis, perfectly-matched control feel. Plus, it comes in a wagon.
Cons: Dated interior styling and imperfect ergonomics betray the 325i's aging design.
My Experience I recently attended a Ride & Drive event hosted by Road and Track magazine. At the event, I got to drive three sport-luxury sedans on autocross-style tracks--three cone courses laid out at Alameda Point naval station. The vehicles ...
Pros: Great performance, great looks, options galore, a wonderful car. Cons: Limited trunk space, brake dust, blind spot
I have owned a 325 for the past six years and am in love with it. The car is big enough to meet virtually all of my needs, yet sporty and quick enough that you feel as if you are driving a true BMW. So, why am in the market for a new car? Well, for a c ...
Pros: Handling, comfort, quality Cons: Price, some may find it small, no 4-cylinder option
2002, 320, 318, 325, magic numbers one and all. I don't know what it is about small BMW sedans, but I've wanted one since my tricycle days, and still do. The small BMW sedan is equal parts sports car, image car, economy car and luxury car, all packaged ...
Pros: Peppy, powerful engine. Fun to drive. Loaded with interior creature comforts. Cons: Spendy. Feels a little small.
Introduction While I am very satisfied with my current car (2001 Acura TL), an offer arrived in the mail that was too good to pass up. Test drive a BMW and receive a 2 lb. box of Godiva chocolates. What an offer! -- chocolate plus an ultimate ...
Pros: Handling, styling, resale value, invisibility of AWD,engine Cons: Way overpriced!, small interior/trunk, cheap feeling leather, dated dashboard
I have been a big fan of the current generation 3-Series sedan since it appeared in 1999.The sedan’s styling is timeless, with classic proportions that will look good for years to come. As a current owner of a last generation B.m.w 7-Series, I am not a ...
Pros: Looks sharp, great attention to detail, super customer service Cons: The car won't work with all phones that use Bluetooth. The trunk is too short.
I am a car addict. I buy cars, keep them for a couple years, sell them and get something else. I have gone from SUV to sporty 2 door and back to a SUV/truck and now to a sporty 4 door BMW. I am continually amazed at the amount of options that BMW has ...
Pros: This is finest machine I have ever driven Cons: It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Really is not cheap!
This is my second review I have published, and once again I have nothing but good things to say. I must find something I do not like. I have had the 325 for 3 months, it replaced my 1998 318. That car was an enormous effort to let go. I was in love, and ...
Pros: Steering, handling, acceleration, build quality, ride, looks, reliability, structure, safety features, 5 speed auto, handling. Cons: stereo quality, back seat room, fold down seats are optional, storage, HVAC design.
They say that once you have driven a BMW, it is impossible to drive other cars and I would say that is true. Having owned BMW's almost exclusively for most of my adult life to include various 3, 5 and X models, I feel that my knowledge of the BMW brand ...
325ci is the best option! by jakal38238 ,Oct 18 '04
Pros: Navigation system, Moon-roof, and Heated seats! Cons: NONE
MY new 2004 325ci BMW is such a wonderful car! Ride in style! I have enjoyed using this great car to travel around Europe while stationed in the Army in Germany! BMW is the only car I will ever buy from now on!
Pros: Navigational System and Gas Mileage. Cons: Cheaply made interior wears quickly.
I've had mine for 4 years. I love the navigation system. It's pretty amazing. Gas mileage is excellent on the highway. I've had 3 breakdowns which I've never had in a car I purchased new before so I'm a little worried about my warranty expiring. The breakdowns were all related to the same issue though and BMW was very fast to fix it each time and give me a free BMW loaner. I've had problems with the trim coming off around the windows (3 times) but overall I'm pretty happy with it.
Pros: I love everything about the BMW convertible. Cons: there is nothing negative .
I love my bmw convertible!! the way it handles on the road, the heated seats, the looks you get whereever you are...It just spoils you! Once you go BMW you never go back....and did I mention the radio? it sounds like I have a band in my car!!! LOVE IT!!!!!
Pros: It is a BMW Cons: If you get in an accident the parts for the car are so expensive
The BMW 325I is a perfect car for any person to have. It is a wonderful family car along with the benefits of driving it like it was a teenager's car. it is amazing in the was it handles. The response it has is so quick and effective. It has seat heaters, power windows, sun roof, power steering, great sounding speakers. The car is like a highly trained dog, it does all the tricks.
Pros: - Looks Cons: - Uncomfortable driver's and passenger's seats
- Tight entry to back seats
After having driven this car for two weeks, I can say for sure that I hate the driver's seat. Even my wife has said that the passenger's seat is very uncomfortable too. These seats are not ergonomically designed. I would not recommend them to anyone with back problem.
The entry to the back seats is pretty tight too.
These two things aside, I do like the car. But I wish BMW would design the seats for comfort. Either that, or make the lumbar support (available only to the 330) part of the 325 premium package.
Since I have a bad back, I have tried to get BMW to replace the seats on my 325i, but with no success. For such an expensive car, I would think BMW would go out of their way to keep their customers happy. But that does not seem to be the case.
My recommendation to anyone thinking about buying this car is to get the 330i with premium package instead. I believe that package on the 330i only (and not on the 325i) has the lumbar support, and that should make the seats more comfortable.
I do hope BMW reads these reviews.
