Pros: Reasonable prices and a smooth, trusty demeanor when driven gently. Decent interior materials, too. Cons: Boring to drive, rubbery shifter, limp handling, floaty ride, rough seat cloth.
My Experience I test-drove a Nissan Sentra 1.8S 5-speed at a local dealership. My test-drive lasted over half and hour, and covered city streets, winding secondary roads, and the freeway. Performance The Sentra's 1.8-liter ...

Pros: Soft and quiet ride, quality interior materials, AUX input on stereo Cons: Handling a bit floaty
I've spent the last few days driving a brand-new 2004 Sentra 1.8 S with automatic transmission while my own 2003 Mazda Protege is at the dealer for squeak removal. In addition to comparing directly to the Protege, I also owned a 1997 Sentra GXE 5-speed ...

Pros: Inexpensive, good gas mileage, reliable so far (23k miles) Cons: Cheap looking interior, Zero connection with the road, bland & vague feeling shifter, so-so styling
I bought the five speed manual, 1.8S Sentra after I was rear-ended in my Civic, which totaled the car. After finding out I could get a good discount through work, I figured the 11K price was acceptable. I was looking for a commuter and winter slop car, ...

SE-R Spec-V Biggest Bang for the Buck
by mroutacontrol ,Jan 05 '04
Pros: Fun, fast, torquey, thousands less than the competition, limited slip diff., good build quality. Cons: Dated chassis demands more skill and nerve than the competition to run truly fast.
Yes, I would buy this car again. In day-to-day driving it is just plain fun, with strong acceleration and sharp handling. Ride quality is surprisingly good for a car with such grip. Steering feedback is good, I can stop the car a lot faster than the reviews indicate as the brakes are linear and fade resistant. The shifter's feel and precision are only fair. The interior is more understated than other sport-compacts, and while it looks fine, the dash is hard plastic. It is well equipped, and the base stereo is quite good, especially if you replace the stock sub. Fit and finish are very good. I have had no problems at all. It is not the most refined car in it's class, but will run with the best of them, and with rebates it is by far the least costly. As with any car in this category, you WILL need snow tires.

Good car for price
by GMenzelR ,Dec 13 '03
Pros: Engine, Size, Quality, Price Cons: Small cargo area
Good performance, good size, little small cargo area, wheel size are great, Engine are power at low rpm, but in high speed (over 100 kmh) in climb way are slow to respond. If you compare cars in this segment price and quality, Sentra have many good points.
The front, rear, sides are pretty than previous models.
I am very happy with my first new car.
