YOu have a good beginning, now it just needs to be finished. This reads more like an essay about the author and not the book itself. If you could add more regarding book, I be happy to return and reread.
Thank you

The reason for the SR (Reply to this comment)
by Erinys
The reason this review has gotten an SR from me (and probably from the others who SR'ed it, although of course I can't speak for them) is not because it isn't well-written, or because the things you've said aren't true. The reason you've gotten an SR is because this is only a small portion of a review.
The opening paragraph does in fact belong to a review of this subject and it's very nice. But you should have opened with something that told us what this book is, when it was published, and perhaps even done a little research as to why King wanted to conceal his identity while writing these short novels.
We also need information on what the four novels are called, what they are about, and whether they resemble anything else King has done in areas other than style. Did he approach new subject matter? Different genres? Does he usually write near-future SF? Can you draw any parallels between the plots and themes in these books and others by King which are much more famous?
This is a good start and you have the spine of a good review here...but it needs limbs, flesh, blood and skin as well.

Thank you, his style is pretty unique...now, if he would just get someone to help him edit down some of his recent stuff...too wordy! (and I didn't used to feel that way...10 years ago, the more - the better!).
Thanks!

I have always been a fan of Stephen King and when I first read "The Regulators" I wasn't fooled at all, I knew it was him. Good review. Doug/Samadust
