I joined the Double Day Book Club about 2 months ago and I am in literary heaven... at least I consider it heaven. I've gotten some really great deals and they have a lot to choose from. After my initial order, I got an offer for 5 books, all hard-cover, for just 25cents each! You just can't beat that! They have all the Oprah Book Club selections, as well as any other fiction you can think of. Like the music clubs you do have to meet a minimum purchase requirement, but you have a full year in which to do so. The ONLY drawback is that you have to return the card with the featured selections on it and state that you don't wish to receive them, otherwise you'll get a little surprise in the mail that you might not be so thrilled about. This happened to me this month, so guess what some of my folks will be getting for Christmas?
