The ATI Rage Fury 32MB card has the power to compute the most intense graphics games available. Try Quake 2 in resolution of 1280 x 1024 and you are guaranteed to see details that you never noticed before! This video performs up to par against the Diamond and STB 32MB cards, though, if you ask me, I havent been able to see the difference in performance between any of these cards since I started comparing the three brands at the 8MB load.
What does set this ATI card apart from its competitors is the ease of installation. Pop it in the AGP slot, Windows98 automatically locates the drivers on the CD, and you're done! Simple! Not only that it supports multiple monitor displays, something that I could not get to work with either the Diamond of the STB 32MB cards. (Though, the multiple monitor display worked with the STB 16MB card.) The ATI card installed itself as the primary card, even though it is an AGP card, which makes this card worth the price! As if it were unable to support itself at the primary card, I would have lost it 32MB computing power for intense gaming graphics.
Of course, all this talk just goes to say that if you dont have a 32MB card now, GO GET ONE!!! The difference that these new video cards provide is Unreal! (Another great game!) However, if you have two or more monitors, make sure to get the ATI RAGE Fury as you will save yourself a ton of time and make your life a lot easier.
