I just bought my brand new HP from Best Buy... Happier than punch! I did a fair amount of reading up on it... good reviews! Well, it almost sounded to good to be true... I guess I was right! First of all, the comp is great!!! But as far as Internet goes... it comes with the worst modem I have ever used in my life! 533 MHZ, P III, CD-RW, DVD, etc... sounded great! But why would they build a great CPU with the worst modems??? It wasn't a lemon either because I had to take it back because it was so bad, and get another one.... same thing!!!! All in all, the rest was great..... But put new modems in please!!! I had to spend way to many hours and hours on the phone with AOL, JUNO, HP, Best Buy, before I realized... that these modems are just garbage! I was in denial too! I didn't want to believe that what I just paid $2000 for is useless to me!!! I shouldn't have to buy a new modem... HP you really did it now!
