Pros: tiny, good screen, great battery
Cons: flimsy, doubt it would take a 3' drop

I have just finished analyzing the Solo 3150 notebook for use in our web cafe. It is uniquely well suited with the built in e-net and good screen.
hdd capacity is a little down, but not tiny by any means. The size is very nice, but a trade off in this price class. That is to say it is flimsily built, for the same price a person could get a better built but larger unit. Would have preferred a Celeron version as it would have been less expensive and equal in performance. Ram is low at 32 megs but capable of office 2k word and excel with acceptable but not high performance. It is expandable with industry standard SO Dimm modules, I like this. Battery is a lithium Ion unit, very nice got 2hrs and 27mins of full use out of it. Display is very clear with only slight shading from uneven backlight.
To sum it up, its feature packed sure fits the budget yes but you would want a very good carrying case to protect it from damage.
As a final note, it is excellent for use in marine navigation due to size.
