I bought this drive about 6 months ago, and it has been heaven. I installed it real easily, seriously with no major problems. Started up the computer and it was ready to go! At 4 speed it records a CD in a bit more then 15 minutes. It has really saved me a lot of money in CDs cause I used to just buy CDs when I got bored with my old ones, and now I can just make my own new ones. Also with the explosion of MP3s on the internet you are going to want to get a drive to record the songs on. It has so many uses, I recently backed up my hard drive right before Y2K, just in case. I can't wait for DVD recorders I'm gonna get one right away. Until them, consider this, it is a really good drive.
