| mdmccaffery's Full Review: Quantex M450 |
I recently purchased this Quantex PIII 450 gaming package. I have been very impressed with the system. It came with all the things I need to play any game I could imagine. I have tested several including Quake 3, Flight Simulator 98, and several AIM flying games.
I have not had one problem yet. This machine just keeps going and going. I would also like to comment on the technical support. They offer a 24 hour, 7 days a week support with REAL people. When I first received the system, I put in my Windows 98 disk, which I was not supposed to do, and messed up all the software. When I placed a call to Quantex Technical Support, the representative I spoke with was very bright and not only did he immediately locate my problem, he helped me return the software to the way it came from the manufacturer.
For anyone that is in the market for a computer and wants to get the most BANG for your buck, Quantex would be the best. Compared to companies like Dell and Gateway, their Technical Support is the lifetime of your computer, and it is free. They do not charge you a flat rate per call like most computer manufacturers do and the number is toll free. What a great company.
They appear to be devoted to selling quality computers at great prices and satisfying their customers. Their systems are also non-proprietary so you can upgrade them when the time comes. As for the system I purchased, I don't think that will be for quite a while.
