Greetings everyone.
I want to tell you about the Compaq Persario Systems that I have.
You read it correctly, I have two Persarios one is a desk top and the other is a tower. Each one has worked very well for me.
As for the Tower. I actually got it in exchange for a Packard Bell that crashed three times. I wasn't happy with PB so I asked for the Compaq, and have been really happy with it. The ZIP system that came as a part of the original set up is super. I am able to carry an incredible amount of information from work to home and back again with out worring that I will run out of disk space. My journal is also written out on the ZIP drive. Talk about a life story.
The desk top was a life saver when I attended the Army's Sergeant Major Academy. I used it to write many papers and prepared several speeches as well as for email to my family for the 10 months I was away from home.
Both of the computers were resistant to the huge amount of static electricity that builds up in the houses in El Paso, TX. I did however fry two mouse systems because of the static. Each time the computer continued to work with out issue.
I do wish that they had a more easily accessible on off switch, but darn it you can't get everything.
A good system for both home and family use.
