I had a Gateway Desktop and loved it and the service I had received from Gateway so much that I decided to try out one of their laptops. I included the "student package" with it, even though I am not a student.
I also included the airplane/auto adapter, but regretably the first flight I took it on did not have any where to plug it in.
Over all it has been a great little machine, the screen is very nice, much better than the Compaq I use to have. The keys are easy to use, though I don't care for the touchpad, I have to get a trackball to put on there.
The backpack from Kensington is really great, with a lot of storage areas and makes it easy to carry, especially if you do use it as a back pack and have to run through the airport.
My one complaint is that the battery life seems VERY short. I am lucky to get an hour out of it! That does not seem right to me. Also, make that two complaints, is that it gets extremely hot and is suppose to run that way according to gateway. you cannot sit it on your lap for very long!
over all I am pleased with my investment!
