| RoodyPoo's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Color LaserJet 4500 Printer |
HP, I commend you. To be honest, I more than commend you, I praise you. What you have unleashed on the market of buisness equipment is a pure technological wonder. Truly an amazing piece of printing machinery, I sometimes find even myself amazed at the printing capabilities of this device.
Let us begin with the printing quality itself. Flabbergasting. By this, I am implying that you will be amazed at the high resolution / print quality of this HP model. It DPI exceeds 1000 x 1000, or in standard terms, it can print very sharp. It has the ability to produce magazine photograph quality pictures.
As far as speed, there is not much to complain about. It's fast. You can load over 1000 sheets of paper, and it can print over well over 4 picture-loaded pages in a minute. For standard text, its hard to describe how fast it works, especially when comparing it to brands and models of lesser quality. It's the Carl Lewis of printers!
HP strived for a standard of buisness hardware quality, and I can tell that their standards were achieved in my buisness partner's response to having this machine in the office. It makes like around the office much easier in general as we are now capable of producing high quality graphics.
As far as style, durabilty, and the rest, what can I say. Hey, it looks about as nice as they come and takes up a standard amount of desk space for a printer. You won't find a good one for much smaller. It comes with a nice warranty as well, over 5 years I believe with costumer service. Also, it should not be outdated any time soon.
I will say, it is an expensive model. Even at a bargain retailer, this HP will cost you upwards of $2,100. Yet, with printer hardware, my suggestion is you spend a little more now and save a lot later. Purchasing a printer, or any expensive piece of computer hardware, is an investment. You want to buy something that is quality and will not get outdated or give you problems in the future.
If you want a good investment, I suggest this model. Excellent!
