Pros: Fast, very fast. Easy to expand. Cool looking on your desk!
Cons: Lame Keyboard and mouse (these things no longer exist, but the new keyboard, although improved, is not great, but the new mouse is awesome!)

| davesimon's Full Review: Apple Power Macintosh G4 Base |
I started my computing life on an Apple II Plus, graduated to a IIe, then a Mac Classic, then a 7100, then an 81/110 Radius Clone, but as a web/graphic designer, my machine was getting horribly slow...
...enter the G4.
No speed problems here. I purchased the 350 Mhz version, just so I could spend a little extra on RAM, a second video card, SCSI card for my old stuff, a replacement keyboard, etc.
I chose the G4 over an iMac or a PC because I have an investment in software and I need speed/expandability.
I have been very pleased by the speed, but this machine crashes so much less often then my older machine that had been hacked and upgraded in order to run the latest software.
I highly recommend this box...
