I wanted the Palm m100 for a few reasons. First I needed a way to easily manage my class schedule for college which would be a pain to use pen and paper to organize the unusual 3 day schedule I have next semester. I also wanted something to help me better organize my disorganized life. I did not need a $300+ PDA just to do the basic tasks I needed it for. I did get my Christmas present a day early and was impressed and just how amazing and small this device is.
The Palm m100 comes with several programs to help you better organize your life. You get the below:
You get an address book great for those of you out there who would like a much easier way to organize names, addresses and email addresses. The Palm m100 comes with a very basic calculator which is a great replacement for those who would rather eliminate there calculator all together. You get a nifty basic clock for keeping track of the time. You get a Datebook for keep track of all the things you have to do up to years in advance. You get a Memo Pad application for writing down those notes that you may need to write down. Last but not least you get a Note Pad program that will allow you to just scribble down a quick note quick that you may need to write fast.
The way you write with the Palm m100 isn't very hard to learn. It's not all that different from the way we write. You have to write the letters without going off the writing area. Some letters like X are a little more difficult but with practice the Palm m100 is very easy to use at a natural writing speed.
The Palm m100 is also compatible with the thousands of Palm OS applications out there giving you access to a ton of uses of this amazing device. This device may only have 2MB of memory but for what the device is intended for that's plenty as long as you don't install dozens of programs and mostly use the programs it came with.
This is one amazing device and I recommend it to anyone who needs to better manage there life.
