I recently purchased a Micron Millenia 733mhz computer for my college dorm. Why did I purchase a Micron over the leading competitors? It was a great deal. I had the system custom built to fit my exact specifications and shipped directly to my home. The process was complete within one week. Also, Micron uses the newest 133mhz RAM. This is leading edge technology and is very important to me as a consumer. I want to know that the company that I am purchasing from is up to par on new, innovative ideas and design..
Working at an electronics superstore this summer, I had plenty of time to price and research the many different computer manufacturers on the market. Micron consistently came up as one of the top three brands as I read review upon review in dozens of different computer shopper magazines. The computer I eventually purchased came with a 733 mhz processor, 128 MB of PC133 SDRAM, a 20 GB Hard Drive, a 12X DVD player, and a 8X CDRW drive. Also, expanding your system is a breeze with Micron's larger than normal tower. Only with Micron could I pick the exact components that would fit my needs as a college student. And it was cheap! The entire system, with a 17 inch monitor was less that $2000! What more could I ask for? This system is perfect for my homework, e-mail, music, and of course for games!
I've had the system for over three months now, and have had no problems. Micron makes a great computer at an affordable price and deserves a look when shopping for a computer. Besides the college student, I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for a top of the line computer at an affordable price!
