I bought 2 Micron machines for the Chemistry Lab at my University. Apparently some new chemistry equipment run by PCs had some software that was guaranteed to run on a Micron system box only. We received the equipment in decent condition and had the two PCs up and running in under an hour. To date we have only had a problem with one monitor. The company did finally replace it, but not near as quickly as several other computer manufacturers we deal with (insert plug here for DELL next day support). On the positive side, the case is very efficient (including many MAC-like features) and makes hardware changes a snap. I guess the bottom line is that this is an average system…neither outstanding nor a “boat anchor”. I do not plan on purchasing from Micron in the future, but would not necessarily be against them either (currently they do not measure up to the quality and service I demand).
