These fantastic cards are relatively cheap compared to other Geforce based video cards which can run over 200 bucks. I found this one for around 90 and I am NOT dissatisfied with it's performance. So far, anything I run works incredibly fast, smooth, and has excellent texture quality. Instead of me rattling on about the technical stuff, I'll put a link to NVidia's Geforce2 MX site so you can read all that directly from the people who built the GPU (Graphics Processing Units):

(if this link changes, email me and I'll fix it for you)

Installing this card is a snap since it's a standard AGP card (if you have never opened a computer case before, then I wouldn't recommend installing this due to the sensitive nature of computer components to static shock, but if you're determined to install it yourself, make sure you don't touch anything else!). Most likely windows will not recognize the card as anything other than a Standard Graphics Adapter so you should have your Driver CD handy or have already downloaded NVidia's Detonator drivers package, otherwise all you're going to see is 16 colors.
Once those drivers are installed, you're ready to start experiencing NVidia's best line of GPUs. Go ahead and run all your games in 32-bit color at resolutions of 1024x768, you probably won't notice any slow down or jerking even with the resolution that high.
Bottom line, this is the best card for the price. It even gives those multi-hundred dollar cards a run for their money. I've seen ATI's Radeon at work and yes it's a nice card, but I think the Geforce2 MX still performs better and is less than half the price of some of those higher end ATI cards. In the end, you'll want NVidia's name brand stuck to the graphics chip because of their outstanding driver compatibility with DirectX and just about every other standard there is. If you want a card that is going to blow you away in it's performance and it's price, get this one, I promise you won't be disappointed.
