| dtiberio's Full Review: Cirque Easy Cat Touchpad |
I have owned a few touch pads. They help prevent repetitive strain injuries. When I got this device, the pain in my lower arm and elbow went away in the matter of a few days.
It did start a new problem, where I would get a burn on my thumb. But this was only during the first week of use. I have been using it for months now... over a year... with no problems.
I have owned 3 or 4 touch pads. All of the others stopped working or were not reliable. Usually the humidity or sweat would make it not work. I have that problem with this device only once in a long while. With the others, it happened daily.
It takes a while to get used to using the touchpad, but it is great once you have been using it for a month. It saves on desk space, can be used on the lap, can be used with either hand, and helps reduce RSI. I use the touch pad at work, and a trackball at home.
It however cannot be used for things like drawing, since it is not accurate enough. It also requires some practice to learn how to move the pointer quickly and effectively.
