Thanks for the comment. I really only can tell you my experince with the external drive. I do not know of anyone who has the internal, so I do not know how much faster it would be. My guess though you should see some improvement.
Imation does make the Superdisk with USB support. Check out prices online or try ebay....dont get ripped off. Shop around!!
Do your homework first...I thought I did but was not happy with this drive at all.

Thanks for the informative review. I have two questions though.
Is the internal version of this drive as slow? And does Imation sell a USB version of this drive?
My cousin is looking into buying an Imation or Quark drive, and I'm gonna tell him what your review said. Thanks.

If your looking for something with hard drive capacity and portable, i suggest the iomega portable zipcd drive, it offers plenty of space and you can read the cd in regular cdrom drives.. Anyways great review, i look foward to reading your others...
