I was recently in the market for a CD burner, so I picked up this little baby for a very respectable price at Best Buy. I've burned quite a few CDs since, and they all turned out very well. It burns at 4X, rewrites at 4X, and reads at 16X. I installed it by myself and figured it our with relative ease. However, the instructions and documentation were a little lacking. If a person had no experience with installing drives or working with CD burners, he or she would probably have some trouble figuring this one out. Furthermore, the software that came with it is a little less that fantastic, in my opinion. Not too horrible, but I personally prefer to use another program. But, as for the performance of the drive, I can't complain at all and would recommend this for a fairly experienced user looking for a good burner.
