Pros: Speed and Value Cons: Lacks Some Features of Newer Cards
Even though a little dated by today's standards this is an excellent midrange card. You can get it now for around $150. This is an excellent price for a card of this caliber. Speed is around the same as the Voodoo 3 3000 plus it offers 32 bit color...

Pros: Fast, 32megs ram, cheap Cons: slowest tnt2 board
I, like every other computer gamer out there, want to have the newest and fastest components. The only problem with this is that it can get very expensive, especially for a college student. The Diamond Multimedia Viper V770 Ultra fits in perfectly with...

Pros: Great performance, great looking. Unique w/ overclocking feature. Cons: The drivers could be improved.
I was pleasantly surprised with this card. I bought it expecting it to be a great card, but it was even more than that. The unique overclocking feature of the V770 Ultra makes it stand out from other similar cards. I have played many games with it....

Pros: Quality Cons: Overclocking is poor
The graphics this card can produce is exhilarating. I played half-life and it is seriously hard to tell that these are computer graphics except for some items which are flaws in the programming. I must say, Diamond has some kick ass driver support for...

Pros: 32 megabytes of video memory, Very good 3d acceleration Cons: No TV out, No 3dfx support, expensive
The Viper V770 is a wonderful addition to any computer. Excuse me for being too general, but if you do not have a 3d card in your computer now, I recommend taking a trip to your computer retailer right now.
I purchased this product because I...

Pros: 32 Bit Color, Great Performance, Overclockable Cons: Horrid DVD Decoding, Not Superfast, No Software Bundle
Let's get to the facts. If you like your voodoo, you might not like this card. If you went to forums, and looked at voodoo vs. tnt, you would see things like this: "Voodoo is so much faster then TNT. Nice Opengl speed you ugly Sloath!"...

Pros: Cheap, Good Frame Rate, Overclockable Cons: Not the newest thing out
Well, this isn't the most recent graphics card nVidia has turned out but I still feel it's the money performance value around. In comparison to the GeForce256 it is not very far behind in frame rate and still has all of the hardware features. This card...

Pros: Still a strong card Cons: Showing age.
I've had this card for about a year and a half now. This card has been a strong performer for the last year now. I've been able to get smooth framerates (20+ fps) with newer games. This card still puts out graphics at a good level. On half-life I...

Pros: Blistering performance. Period. Cons: Drivers that ship with card are buggy.
One caveat before I begin. Keep in mind that while a really fast 3D accelerator does improve game performance, you are still limited by which processor/chip you have.
I have a P2-550 which came installed with a STB card based on a TNT. This...

Pros: Beautiful image quality, lightening fast speed Cons: none to me
The NVIDIA TNT2 Processor is a tight little chip. The Ultra card boasts even higher clock settings for enhanced performance. I've got a Viper V770 (non ultra) and it's fantastic. So one would imagine the ultra is even better :)
Capable of 2-...

Pros: Strong , clean ,good performing Card Cons: , Mysterious Driver Performance
Those who have this card with a overclock CPU (by means of increaseing the FSB to 83hz +) ..might have ran into problems. I did! ..being that i have a PII333, which runs at a FSB speed of 66, to reach a speed of 416 ..the FSB speed had to be...

Pros: Easy to install, configurable, stunning 3d & 2d graphics Cons: -
What an excellent video card. I was skeptical about TNT vs 3dfx for a long time and no longer do I have to be! The difference is quite noticeable from my old 3dfx banshee (of course I know the Banshee is an old card and there are some vastly superior...

Pros: Clear Picture - Extra Features Cons: Slow - Expensive - Jerky - Poorly Designed
Diamond Viper V770
The Diamond Viper V770 has got to be the worst video card in its class. First of all you pay $200 for the thing when you could get a Voodoo3 3000 for less than that.
I have had my Diamond Viper V770 for about 2...

Pros: 32 bit color rendering Cons: at 32 bit ,the frame per sec dropped
I bought the Viper V 770 cause I was told how great it was . I had the voodoo 3 3000 AGP , but all I heard was how much better and faster the viper v 770 ultra was . Lets face it with 32 bit color rendering and 32 bit texture rendering it should...

Pros: Good Rates and performance Cons: High Cost
After weeks of research I decided to buy this card. The TNT2 Ultra chip is fantastic. This is a great card for gamers alittle pricey but great Rates. This card out performs the 3Dfx card in parallel. The dark scenes are alittle dark but the...
