I just read a favorable epinion on this 3M PRECISION MOUSING SURFACE
and I decided to once again dig mine out and give it another try. I was hoping that now that I have a different mouse then I had when I originally bought this that it would work...
Pros: Um, easy to move around? Looks nice for a while... Cons: Wears out incredibly quickly, doesn't stay in place, begins to curl after a while, adds unnecessary resistance to mouse while moving it
While rating my review, please keep in mind that it is incredibly difficult to write a lengthy piece on a mousepad :) Enjoy the review--I hope it is sufficient warning and will force you to steer clear of this product!
I'm always looking for cheap ways to improve my first person shooter gaming skills without having to practice. =) So, I decided to try out the 3M Precise Mousing Surface since it has been rated highly by gaming review websites. Here's what I think:...
Pros: Keeps the dirt out of the mouse, better gripping than normal mouse pads Cons: Pricier than a normal mouse pad by a lot.
I know, it's only a mouse pad, what's to be said, they are all the same. If that is what your thinking your totally wrong! When it comes to gaming, or graphic design you need a quality mouse pad, and mouse. I read the other reviews here, and I haven't...
Pros: keeps mouse clean, accurate mouse scrolling Cons: expensive at retail stores, easily damaged
Here's the 'official' website for the product:

I got a 3M Precise Mousing Surface 3 years ago after I asked my friend where he got this interesting mouse pad. I got one at a local computer retail...
Pros: Accurate pointing, Smooth mousing, Less buildup, Just plain Cool Cons: Not durable
In the last year traditional foam synthetic fabric mouse pads have been assaulted by a revolution in mousing surface technology. The Everglide (which I tackled in another review) and the 3M(tm) Precise Mousing Surface have been the...
Pros: Best feel while still giving smooth action Cons: Flimsy and not durable, Everyone has their own tastes
There is no right or wrong for mousing surfaces. It comes down to personal preference, and mine comes down to the 3M Precise Mousing Surface (PMS) with a few modifications.
I'm an Intellieye Explorer user, and many people might ask why...
Pros: clean mouse innards, doesnt hog desk space Cons: cant think of any
If you love any kind of First Person Shooter this is the mousepad for you. It has microgrooves that grip the trackball but not enough to slow it down ensuring faster response time. The average mouse pad made of cloth that is flat and therefor any hand...
Pros: no gunk, easy clean Cons: shape, curling, slippery back
This is my favorite mouse pad. I bought it for all its claims to keep the mouse from being “gunked” up. Which I agree with. I have not had to de-gunk my mouse as much as I used too.
I have had this pad for I would guess a year or so and it is...
Pros: Super Thin, Perfect Texture, Easy to clean, Unobtrusive Cons: NONE
Most mousepads are simply nothing more than a piece of rubber foam covered by a layer of felt. They're so unbelievably cheap that I have a drawer full of free ones. And there's a reason that I have a drawer full--because they're not fit to use after...
Pros: Surface lets you point where you want to point Cons: Gets dusty and worn easily
Most people think that mousepads would be a afterthought when it comes to buying a computer. Truth is, it probably doesn't even cross many peoples' minds when they get that new Pentium 800 with that huge 22" monitor. Now, for most people, the...
Pros: Great with Certain Mice, Such as Razer Boomslang Cons: Only works with a couple mice, Mice are very $$$
I recently purchased a razer boomslang 2000 dpi mouse for gaming. With it, I took their suggestion, and bought a 3M precision mousing service with it. The mouse works great, and so does the mousepad. But is this mousepad for you? It depends really. The...
