Pros: links you to the world, every1's using it Cons: its from aol, isnt that a con in itself?

Pros: Easy to use, convenient, everyone has it. Cons: none.
OK, we all know the only thing AOL is good for is the instant messaging. Poor internet browsing and busy signals make AOL good for nothing.
But what about the people who don't want to spend $21 dollars a month for a low quality internet...

Pros: 1. can chat with friends who have AOL 2. easy to download Cons: 1. no offline messaging at least when I had it 2. not enough variety on it to use such as greeting cards
I just recently deleted my aol instant messenger because I had a hard time chatting on it. I'm not an aol member so maybe that had something to do with it, but it was rather annoying.
I had a friend on the messenger I had met while playing...

Pros: Some, if you can trust who you're talking to. Cons: I hate it.
Okay, I'm a mature female, so I should know better. Why is it I can assimilate and remember obscure facts and figures, learn computers, comprehend abstract philosophical ideas and intuitively comprehend the depths of Jungian psychology but I NEVER learn...

Pros: Fast, easy, great way to chat Cons: none
I have both AOL and AIM on my computer. I must admit for chatting I only use AIM. It's easier to use than AOL, and a lot faster. I can also use it where ever I am instead of having to load AOL onto a new computer. It also allows me to register my AOL...

Pros: free, easy to use Cons: can be a little slow
When I was told (yes, you read correctly) to download AOL IM, I was a little leary, I've not been a big fan of anything AOL from the get-go and was honestly a little worried about what might happen.
Luckily, I was surprised. AOL IM was very...

Pros: Small download, update notification, ease of use Cons: Too many logos
First, I'd like to note that I am running AIM 4.7.2480. I've been running AIM for about 4 months now, and it is quite an outstanding program.
First, in comparison to ICQ, I don't seem to get any of those random pager messages that I hate so...

Pros: Easy to use Cons: None
I love using AOL instant messengers for lots of reasons. But, I think the main one is because my best friend and I spend so much time talking to each other on it.
She lives over an hour away from me, which makes it difficult to talk very much...

Pros: Fast, uses little resources, tons of features, buddy alert, inivisble mode Cons: Sometimes slow log ons... People get annoying :)
As much as I hate to say it.. I like an AOL product. I was still safe when I got ICQ, I hated that. But now, since I got Aim a few years ago, I have made friends with the enemy. America Online, doesnt it just sound horrible? After 350 cds, 5,000...
