Pros: It contains alot of the major features given by AOL. Cons: The banner can be annoying to some people, and there are no chat rooms avaible in this service (but isn't that safer for your children then?)
I use to be an aol member, paying that $21.95 monthly. It seemed rather expensive for such services, especially when there are other well known internet services out there for lesser price. In my search for a cheaper internet service that was capable...

Pros: Free, lots of access numbers. Cons: Incredibly annoying pop up ads. Limited access time. Semi- bothersome add banner.
In my never-ending search for a good free ISP I had to find another one after MyPoints kicked the bucket. I had never actually tried NetZero but I had seen the commercials on TV enough so I thought I’d give that a go.
Installation was fairly...

Pros: Reliable connection, dockable advertising bar Cons: Program causes errors and slows down system
When I decided to axe my ISP and venture into the world of free Internet access, NetZero was my first choice. After all, they had the TV commercials, and the newspaper ads, and the posters in the bus shelter... if they can afford that kind of advertising...

Pros: Absolutely NO Pro's!!! Cons: Causes Severe Computer Errors & Freezes, A Joke Of A Service!
"FREE" is too much to pay for this joke of a service! The damage their software did to my PC is unbelievable, please, take it from me... NetZero is more trouble than it's worth. They say it's "FREE" but it'll cost you.
MY...

Pros: no charge for the hours they allocate to you Cons: unlimited banner ads and limited hours
Netzero’s advertisements claim that it is the “defender of the free universe” by giving “free” Internet access, but it really isn’t so.
Using Netzero is more like surfing the web with Pennysaver advertisements lurking around every corner...

Pros: Free! Cons: Advertisement bar a little annoying, takes some getting used to.
I wanted to get a free ISP that I could use for browsing the internet instead of using AOL. I downloaded Netzero, signed up, and started using it.
There are a bunch of dial up numbers for every area code, I think. I've had Netzero for 5...

Pros: Free Cons: permanent large banner, required to visit advertisers too often or else.
I got hooked up on NET-ZERO free service because I was new
to the area and on a limited budget and needed to get on
line ASAP.
The initial set up was annoying since, if the connection
wasn't made and continuous until you got the...

Pros: Best known of the Free ISPs; self-updating software Cons: Unlimited Free Internet usage became LIMITED a while ago; buggy software
NetZero was a good deal when it became popular. Free Internet access via support from pop-up ads, a wide variety of local telephone numbers nationwide, and a massive marketing campaign helped NetZero reach the top of the heap of free ISPs in the United...

Pros: Ease of use, good national p.o.p., reasonable price, standard chat and POP3 support Cons: Still not entirely advert. free, no support for alternative OS, recent merger with JUNO (yeuchh!!!!!!!!!!)
I've been using NetZero for some time - even when it was one of many free net access programs on my PC. In the course of a year, it remained the only survivor and that's got to be a plus. After a few more months, I decided to take the plunge and sign on...

Pros: The free factor pretty much covers it. Cons: Well, besides the banner and the slow connection?
I must say I'm one of the many who connect to the internet using NetZero's free service. During the time that I've used NetZero, I've not only been displeased with the service, but have also noticed a decrease in the quality of the service.

Pros: Cheaper than most other ISP Cons: frequent disconnects, long log-in time, don't honor promotional package deals
I was introduced to NetZero by a friend earlier this year when it was totally free. About 4 months ago I signed up for a 6 promotional package for $49.75. Not bad I thought. It's about $8/month. Something I can handle. Now 4 months into the plan...
