Pros: Comfortable, sporty, great mileage, roomy, large trunk and an absolute blast to drive!
Cons: Limited color selection...and I had to stretch to even think of one con. :)
The Bottom Line: My very first car was a 1975 Civic, I'm kicking myself for ever leaving Honda. Driving is no longer a chore, I can't wait to have to go somewhere now!

| madison87's Full Review: 2003 Honda Civic 2 door |
To make a long story short, I love this car... I mean I really love this car!
The 2003 Honda Civic DX is a pretty basic, stripped down model; but you would never know it to drive it. Coming in at just over $12,000, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Not having any power doors or windows isn't that big of an inconvenience because you can reach the passenger door from the driver's seat without much difficulty.
The only upgrade I made was to have a CD player installed: at $400 plus change I thought it was a little pricey, but it looks, plays and sounds great. The sound system is comparable to more expensive, luxury cars that I've had the pleasure to ride in.
The shifting is smooth and effortless; the turning radius sharp and the engine purrs so quietly it's hard to tell if the car is even running.
I would put this car up against an expensive, European sports car any day of the week.
