"Can you hear me now?" NO!

Pros: Sometimes works in big cities!
Cons: Not for rural people! No signal!
The Bottom Line: Where is the guy who ask, "can you hear me now?" He has not been in Illinois as far as I can tell. Avoid this company like the plague!

What a scam. We pay $70 per month for 2 phones and 400 anytime min, 1000 cell to cell min., and unlimited nights and weekends.
The 400 min. are usually eaten up in dropped calls that last about 20 seconds. The only way to get credit for these calls it to immediately call customer service. The problem is that the phone does not work to call them because there is NO SIGNAL!
The 1000 cell to cell min.s are only between our phones, although I was told they were good to any US Cellular customer. The company's reply: "You were misinformed."
We never use them because there is usually NO SIGNAL!
The unlimited nights and weekends are useless because the phones do not work at our house at all. When we bought the phones we told the sales person where we live and we told the phones would work. Ha! Ha!
Well anyway, we are now stuck with a 2 year contract that will cost $500 to break. What a scam.
I wrote to customer service to complain and was told at least 25 unrelated things. No one answered the questions I asked for 25 e-mails. They answered questions I did not ask, like politicians.
Finally, because they must have been sick of me, they dropped the charges for the months dropped calls and told me they would not do this again unless I call immediately when the calls are dropped. Problem is, I can't. If I am using my cell phone, I am not, cannot be, at home and am usually hours away.
I live in Illinois and travel in the Galesburg, Peoria, and Macomb areas daily. My phone does not work 75% of the time but they cannot help me. Because "the phones will not work in all areas." That is not what I was told when I bought the phones. What will they do to help? Nothing!
