Pros: Its a Toshiba! It has almost everything.
Cons: Little heavy. Price, but your getting a lot. Software.
The Bottom Line: There is no other laptop like the S705.

The Toshiba S705 is more than an upgrade from the s703. With a faster processor, 2.4 over 2.0 ghz, a brilliant screen, tv tunner, and better video card (FX 5200 GO over the GeForce 460 mx). The s705 can play/burn dvd, watch TV, record tv, and play the newest games.
The software Toshiba gives you (or ANY manufacture) sucks. The DVD burning software is hard to use and not loaded when you buy the computer. Look at third party applications when buying.
Battery life is good, considering all of what you are powering. The style bay comes with the TV tunner loaded inside. However this can be replaced with a second battery, memory card reader, or 60 GB hard drive. Toshiba's style bay gives their laptops an advantage. The extra options are worth the extra investment.
This laptop is a desktop replacement, possible a tv in a dorm room, a DVD player, and portable entertainment system.
Toshiba's tech support is good as well. Calling they know MOST of what they are talking about. They will always find you the answer.
