Great Sound....lots of options

Pros: This card, although a bit expensive sounds fantastic.
Cons: Price, bulky software
The Bottom Line: A great piece of hardware to compliment any computer...your computer will never sound better.

I tried other sound blaster cards..and had problems with static on certain games. But then I purchased this elite card...and all those problems went away. The sound out of this card is clean and quiet. All my computer audio sounds so good...I hardly listen to my stereo anymore. It installed easily..however I didn't really like all the extra software bundled with this...which of course it tries to install...who needs another media player? I ended up just installing the drivers and the set up program..which was very nice. It was easy to follow and really worked...it was amazing how you could get it to sound with their set up software. One note: The setup software told me my speaker polarity was wrong..but it wasn't. I believe it got fooled by the in line subwoofer I have. Great card...lots of outputs...just kinda expensive but I thought worth it.
