Pros: Relatively compact, convenient internet keys, inexpensive
Cons: ergo style takes a little getting use to, no caps lock or num lock lights
The Bottom Line: Unless you have to have a "humped" keyboard or a big brand name I cannot think of any reason not to buy this set.

| mdbrown's Full Review: A4tech A4 KBS-527R Wireless Desktop Multimedia Erg... |
I didn't expect much when I ordered this set, I had never heard of the company but decided to take a chance since I wanted a wireless keyboard/mouse and needed it to be smaller than the Logitech and Microsoft models. At $23 shipped I could afford to take a chance and now I'm glad I did.
The reciever uses color coded PS/2 connectors and clearly labeled switches to set the channels for the kb and mouse. Setup is a snap, took less than 2 minutes to have the keyboard and mouse running and the optional software installed.
Keyboard layout is standard AT-style 101-key but includes a (now common) row of keys that perform special functions. You have sleep, email, and 10 keys that work with the media player. They perform their functions flawlessly. On the upper right corner there is also a small receptacle for a pen or pencil. While nothing yet matches the feel of the original IBM AT keyboard the A4Tech is one of the best I've used since then.
Touch typing is a breeze after a day or two to get used to the ergonomic layout. Instead of the large, "humped" design of the Logitech and Microsoft keyboards A4Tech opted for simply angling the keys to help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. It's a simple but effective solution as my wrists feel better after using this keyboard then after using a standard keyboard. While feel is a subjective thing, the keyboard has a much better feel than the Dell (microsoft) quietkey that it replaced. It also has a look and feel of quality which was unexpected at this price.
The mouse is effective and reliable but it has no distinguishing features. It does it's job. For the asking price I don't see how they could've made this any better. For less than the price of a Logitech or Microsoft wireless mouse I have a matched wireless keyboard and mouse that does it's job extremely well. Kudos to A4Tech.
