Hi Folks,
Ok I've been using this board for Close to a Month now without any major problems. I'm using the Pro Version of this motherboard which has many extra features that this on does not.
What I like about this board:
USB 2.0 And 1.1 Ports
Onboard Lan
The Onboard Sound For built in sound its quite good, and has many settings!
CPU Temperature monitoring!
This board was easy to install, and a snap to configure. I bought it thinking I was going to re-use my PC133 SDRAM Memory from my Old System. But While It was being shipped to me Best Buy had the DDR on special so I sprung for the single DDR chip.
The Board comes well documented. The Book is rather easy to understand. But To a novice it may seam a little confusing. I'm used to lousy manuals, and this is one of the BETTER ones by far.
I didn't eve reinstall my Windows Me. I just plugged it all back in a booted it up ran the driver disk let it restart a few times, and less then 10 minutes later I was all done.
What I DIDN'T like about this board
Doesn't Have AGP 8x Support
Limited to 1 gig of Ram total.
Other then that I think I got more then my money worth!
I only kicked myself after the fact that for an extra 5 buck I could have gotten the board with the AGP 8x and the Higher Total DDR Memory! But I had no idea I would be going with DDR so soon. Oh well!
Still a Wicked board for the money!
