i was most impressed with the sony camcorder. My experience of this fine piece of machine told me it is a gift from the heavens. I found the camcorder to be light weight and easy to take anywhere. the picture resolution is awesome give a 500 lines of resolution. the carl zeiss lens makes it excellent in cutting picture glare down. the still shots are very good and it comes with 4mb memory stick , which is equilvant to 60 frames of shots. the firewire connection is nice for quick d/l and the camera like it's predecessors has 0 lux capability on it's night time infared shot. the distance is about 8-10 ft but still it's better than a light beaming on someone. more convient part is it's capability to edit and make different effects to the camera., eg. black/white, sepia, mosiac, etc.i luv it and you will not be disappointed with it 2.
