Pros: easy to insert, offers good protection, can be worn longer than other methods.
Cons: Can be MESSY and time consuming to remove.
The Bottom Line: If you're a woman on the go--get it. Besides the removal, it's a convenient way to keep busy and have your period without "conflict"!

I'm one of those skeptics who took forever just to change over to tampons, so when I heard 'menstrual cup', I was a little cynical....
I have been pleasantly surprised. For the most part, you can't feel the cup at all. I did, however, start to feel a little uncomfortable after wearing it for a long time..the plastic ring started to shift or something.
No leaks, and no feeling as if I were going to. I was extremely at ease with the cup. I didn't have any trouble placing it; however, the removal proved to be a little tricky. The first couple of times were a little messy; pulling straight instead of downward seems to help.
I would not suggest changing the cup when you are in a huge rush or in a public place, especially when you are new to using it. It can be messy, and can consume a lot of toilet paper!
As for sexual intercourse using the cup, I have not had the 'courage' to try it with the cup, although my friends say everything from not feeling it, to a scratchy sensation for their partner.
Overall, a really neat and innovative way to be comfortable on your period!
