Good service, fast delivery, good overall experience

Initially the Canon EOS Rebel was not in stock as indicated on the web page. Since it was the long weekend of Thanks Giving, customers had purchased more digital cameras than what was in the inventory. It happens. After pointing out the discrepancy between the inventory and the information on the web page, the web page was modified within a few hours. Timely updates to a web site are rare from larger corporations and most of the smaller corporations just dont pay attention to these details. It was nice to see that The Best Things cared.
Ten days later, I got a notification which I requested - that the Canon EOS Rebel was in stock. This notification came as a voicemail on my cell phone and an email. Again, this was a really nice touch.
That day, I used the The Best Things web site to help me decide what I wanted to purchase in addition to the Canon EOS Rebel. I felt that the information provided about the flash cards and flash card readers was not sufficient to confirm that I was purchasing the items that I wanted. I must admit that Im a carefully buyer. I read too many horror stories from people who dont get the products that they bought. Sometimes the vendors are at fault, sometimes, the customers dont spend the time to ask questions up front. In doubt, I called The Best Things customer service and I got all the desired answers. At my request an email, sent back to me, summarized these answers just to keep a written trace. At that point in time, I fell that I could count on my order to be accurate. Later, as I was completing the order over the phone, a flash card that I really wanted just arrived and I was offered the option to change my order for this flash card. I really appreciated the fact that they remembered my initial order and were able to accommodate this change at the last minute. The price difference was negligible for them; the switch was offered to please me as a customer. I confirmed my order and paid by credit card.
From that point on, I got a tracking number the same night and I was able to follow the package up to my door. The package arrived in a timely fashion.
In conclusion, Im pleased with my experience and will shop there again. However, I would like more product selection.
My ideas for improvement is that the navigation of the web site could be improved with a better layout and the product information for some products could be more complete. These changes would reflect and enhance the professionalism of this corporation.
