Pizza being delivered has to be one of the best things to happen to us, especially when we take a look in the freezer and there really is nothing to cook, or nothing that we seem to want. Plus our son loves pizza, so its a win-win.
Today, we decided to go with our favorite - Papa Johns.com. We love their thin crust, which is hard to find anymore, especially delivered! Our problem is that we don't like to call them in. The staff that takes the
orders always seems in a hurry and they never tell you the specials, so we have started doing it online. It is a breeze at http://www.papajohns.com. Once you sign up the first time, you start getting sale emails, special emails and once you input your address and directions to your house, the system saves it based on our login, which is nice. You can even save additional locations and have them there if you need them. (We used this once and had pizza delivered to my in-laws house one evening...)
After you place your first order the next time you just sign in with your name and password. You then select delivery or carry out, usually we opt for delivery, but sometimes, we drive by, as they have a drive-through which makes it pretty easy...
PapaJohns always offers unique combinations in order to offer you the best selection at the best prices. We usually end up ordering either The Works (loaded with pepperoni, hot italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, black olives, and banana peppers.) They were also offering a special we did not know about and they included it in our shopping cart at review time. We saw the great new item added, but it was showing as free, so we proceeded to check out.
You have the option of selecting you payment amount, cash, check or PapaJohn card (not sure what this is...) but we always use cash if we have it. A few minutes later, an email arrives with the order confirmation, a phone number
if you have trouble, and an approximate delivery time of your order. It also reminds you of the total order, so you can have time to gather the money
and a little tip.

Personal experience:
We use PapaJohns.com about twice a month, it usually ends up being a rainy evening for some reason. Today we ordered, but it was cold, very cold outside and too windy to grill out, so we ordered pizza in. They are good
at hitting their delivery times they commit to in the email. We live out of town quite a ways in a rather remote area of the county, so it usually takes them between 45-55 minutes to arrive. The pizzas are always hot and fresh and made to order. We had one problem, one evening a few months back. The pizza did not arrive by the stated time and I gave them an extra 10 minutes
before I called the number listed in the email. No pizza came, so I called the number. They asked for the confirmation number and then told me that the pizza was showing as "out for delivery" on their system, so maybe the guy was lost or something. They said they would check into and call me back. Before they could call back, the guy showed up. He had indeed gotten lost and missed our road sign (which had been stolen!) and had been driving around. He lucked upon us I think, before he gave up... About a week later, I received a coupon in the mail for one large pizza, thin crust, loaded like we like it. A nice gesture on their part to keep a loyal customer!
Today we got The Works and the free large pepperoni pizza, the total was $14.79 and I rounded it out to $17.00 even, with the tip. Not bad for a nice, hot, fresh pizza (this time two pizzas) delivered to my door. We sat
by the fire and enjoyed our pizza!
