| ldusold's Full Review: CometMultiroom Disinfectant Cleanser With Bleach |
Did you ever sing that song when you were little??? REALLY THOUGH.... DONT EAT COMET... and It DOESNT taste like Listerine.... (although I can't say that for fact) But I'm sure it would make you Vomit!!!
What is COMET? "COMET CLEANSER" as my mother would say.... I grew up in a house where my mother was the drill sergeant and made us do chores like cleaning bathrooms at a young age
. Geeeez mom!!!! Her famous words were
.Thats not enough Comet Cleanser! And while my sister and I cleaned, we sang the Comet song
. Okay, enough about all of that nonsense. Ha ha
.
Comet is an awesome cleanser. Obviously my mother thought so too. I guess old traditions dont die so easily. When I grew up and was out on my own, it was just common knowledge to buy a 59 or 69 cent can of comet cleanser for all your cleaning and disinfecting needs
. Hey you cant beat that right? It cleans, it disinfects, and its CHEAP!!!
I have found that comet actually HAS changed over the years
.. I dont remember there being a comet with bleach but Im not upset over that
. Considering you dont normally use comet on materials or fabrics do you? Ive used it on tile floors, tubs, toilets, sinks & counter tops mostly. What harm can you do to those? Years ago, when the whole new phase of FIBERGLASS shower walls, and tubs came out, my mother would scream
. USE THE SOFT SCRUB
dont use the comet it will scratch
. Well guess what???? I USE COMET ON ALL BATHROOM surfaces now days, because
.. COMET HAS CHANGED
it is now SCRATCH FREE So lets see
.. Now its got bleach, (makes things whiter right?) I dont suggest using it at a tooth whitener though. *wink* and it wont scratch those more delicate surfaces like fiberglass Tubs, Sinks, and Showers.
Comet is like a minty green color powder, and even though powders are usually gross, I have found that this is the BEST stuff on the market for cleaning bathrooms, and your stainless steel kitchen sinks etc
. or anything stainless steel for that matter. I have also found another use for it
. My outdoor lawn furniture. Its that white plastic type of stuff, and Comet along with my Black & Decker Scum Buster did WONDERS on that lawn furniture. Who would have ever thought? Go ahead buy Pine Sol, and Kaboom, and all those other so called Great bathroom cleaners, and go ahead and pay $3.00 bucks each for those things, but you will not only save MONEY & TIME using Comet
. I think you will really like Comet.
I always buy the 21 ounce can of Comet. It does come in a smaller can, but since I use it all the time, I always buy the biggest can that I can get, and its LESS than a buck, so why not?
Directions for use as noted on the can of comet:
To disinfect non-porous Surfaces: Sprinkle this product on wet surfaces, rub gently to cleanse, let stand 5 minutes, and rinse. To disinfect toilet bowls, flush, sprinkle about 4 oz of comet onto surfaces, scour thoroughly let stand 10 minutes and flush.
To Clean:
For most problems, sprinkle this product on wet surface or sponge, let sit for 15 seconds, rub and rinse. If problem remains, repeat process but let stand for one full minute, and then rub and rinse.
What more can I tell you, for 59 cents, I think you should give it a try
you will be satisfied with it, Im sure
.. and just think, when you leave the bathroom after cleaning, your bathroom is completely disinfected, and very CLEAN smelling
.. This is one great product
. Soooooo
.. Go get the Comet Cleanser but whatever you do, DONT really eat it. But you can sing the song while you clean if you wish
. Ha ha
